They have all the parts for Sandtroopers. I wonder how they'll approach weathering. Different helmets is probably too much to hope for...

What's up with that sneaky-looking guy by the Dewback's hindquarters? Is he trying to milk it?

I'm still wondering when someone will bring up the fact that Hot Toys' trooper cod piece and chest armor are way off. Too wide for the cod piece, almost complete lack of abdominal curve for chest armor - that's just the super-obvious stuff. These look GREAT and better than Sideshow's older figure, but they're not a home-run for accuracy any more than Sideshow's were.

I'm in for 3 at the moment.

I will likely buy HT Sandtroopers, even though I have all of the SSC versions. However, I hope they wait just a little bit. A small troop of HT Stormtroopers is quite and expense.

I have seven sandtroopers (one SSC) and I'm definately in for at least a two-pack depending on what exactly it is they're offering. A two-pack with different helmets and/or weathering and three pauldrons would make it possible to change over the parts to make a lot of individuals.

I know I would never get more than 6, but I may only do 3...either 2 tall and 1 short, or 4 tall and 2 short.

Time will tell. I'm just going to enjoy the pair for a while before I decide on anything.

Yeah I got a great deal, far cheaper than I would pay in the uk ( a lot sooner too ) and included ems shipping it, arrived in 6 days!
It's a bit of a bare bones release but it's so awesome and iconic-it's got amazing shelf impact.
It's actually a lot larger than I thought it would be too.
Straight out the box it's perfect
