I can't recall off the top of my head any images where the Stormtroopers had those smaller laser pistols. I only remember them using blasters and the blaster rifle. Can anyone refresh my memory?

Yeah me neither. They look like the blasters some Hasbro figures come with.

They are the blasters used in the first photo shoot of the stormtrooper costume, most famously seen in the original "Art of Star Wars" book in 1978. I believe on-screen that style of pistol was only used by Dr. Evazan and some death star troopers.

Got my single stormtrooper today from timcent. Amazing figure, once the double pack launches locally I'll pick them up again for a total of 3. Yes, they're that good.
