These showed up today. Joints are nice and tight. Proportions are excellent. They just feel "quality." HT just knows how to do it. Something Sideshow hasn't figured out yet. Just buy the company already.

In the comics now, Vader sees the stormies as disposable, using them as human shields, twisting a stormie's head around after seeing his face with the force... Haha yeah that was awesome... I don't think Vader would do that to his loyal clones.

And since the comics take place right after Ep 4, it's safe to make the assumption that all other clones have phased out except Vader's Fist, the 501st Legion.

Now I'm for a broad display option so having all my stormies being the same height isn't that practical to me, I could always buy another 2 pack and if I felt like it, have the 2 tall stormies behind Vader

Hahahahaha.

There is no Star Wars outside of the movies. Read? Star Wars doesn't exist in books, it exists first and foremost on screen. There is one clone ret-conned in the OT, and that's Boba Fett. Troopers are all human. Each and every single one of them a different height.
Exactly! People seem to forget that the clones had accelerated growth cycles. I don't think the Empire would want soldiers with canes and walkers. Outside of the AT-AT or AT-ST or course. haha

For instance in the preview of TFA people were saying that it was a PC issue and they had to do a black stormtrooper. Seriously? Some fans need to think a little more. Pretty sure by the timeline of TFA all clones are dead and gone.

And they'd all be dead before ANH. But besides that, the whole clone thing is PT. The mention of Clone Wars in ANH isn't what we got in PT. And there's no mention of clones in OT besides that.

EU might be fun to read for some folks, but it's not Star Wars. Never has been, never will be.

Wouldn't that be funny, the empire had strict enrollment policies where everyone has to be 6' exactly :lol

Oh, and if you don't want different height troopers, then don't buy the two-pack. The different heights is the whole point.

Troopers are all humans? No. If the logic you have is that "duh only da movies" then all Stormtroopers would be clones. Do the movies say Stormies are humans?

Aren't you a little short for a stormtrooper. Interesting line. Even Leia knows the stormies are the same height. So yeah, lets use the movie. Stormtroopers are clones according to only the movies with no outside interpretation.

The accelerated growth cycles should have stopped when reaching adult stage. Otherwise, it would be very wasteful to create an army that could only be used for a few years. Why bother? Also, by saying they should all be dead by ANH, Obiwan, who was already older than the clones, should be dead already as well.

Over 350+ comics and graphic novels sold, yeah the books are Star Wars. Guess you need pictures to help form a visual.....

By the way, PT Anakin would sell, as would any major PT Hot Toys puts out.

Then again, you are an OT purist....

Thats all I will say about that.

??? Obi-Wan was like 35-ish at the end of Ep 3. ANH happens when Luke and Leia are in their early 20s so Obi would be mid 50's.

The clones were adults in the span of let's say 5 years. In 20 years AFTER they were adults they would be like 120 years old.

Boba was like 8-12 years old in Ep 2 and he looks like he could be in his mid 30's in Ep 5.

Obi wan shouldnt be dead and yes some clones could have survived if they were the last batches from Kamino

Most all of the EU books and comics are considered non-canon by Lucasfilm and Disney now. They are still out there under the Legends banner but are no longer canon. Only things considered canon now is the movies, Rebels cartoon, and the new books and comics that started in January of this year. Clone Wars may or may not be...not sure on that one.

Wwe. Go watch the movies. If you don't see every height imaginable in troopers, including some shorter than Luke then get the heads on your VCR cleaned.

At the very least go back in this thread because it's been covered multiple times.

Wrt to surviving clones. Even if aging normalized after adulthood that would make the clones at least 50 by the time ANH rolls around. But that doesn't matter since there are no clones in the OT. That's something that hasn't been retconned.

The empire still made clones after Episode 3..... they continued to do so. Why do think only one batch of clones were made?

Not sure what is so hard comprehending my view.

Vader preferred clones.

Clones ARE in the movies, although more are humans than clones.

Clones were majority during the dark times and right before Episode 4.

Vader used clones as his primary fighting force until the Marvel comics somewhat contradicted that.

Not sure what is hard about actually reading other people's posts.

The only thing that matters is what Disney and Lucasfilm consider canon. Pretty much all of the old EU stuff has been discarded as canon.

So, no matter what your view is, the old EU stuff that you are clinging to, is no longer canon.

I can't imagine Hot Toys Snow Troopers being so much better than Sideshow's that they'd sell very many. There are still people looking for a Snow Trooper of course, but I think it's too soon for another release. The more universally beloved Sandtrooper however is another story on multiple fronts. Easy to make up for SS's multiple deficiencies, already have a lot of work done with the Stormtrooper armor, SS's releases were many years ago.

Are u kidding?
I'm pretty sure everyone in this forum would buy a sandy trooper???

Yes, i know. These things though can still be true though as the time period i am taking about has no official garbage disney release. It is pathetic that people have to cling onto disneys every word. Anything before episode 4 on back should be canon. Anything during episode 4 and on should be disneys new territory to operate.
