Love how the guy saying they are clones says check a comic book for the visual, how about the movie for a visual?
Lol maybe the clone where grow up up different planets with bigger or smaller gravity thus tall/ short lol

Anything before episode 4 on back should be canon. Anything during episode 4 and on should be disneys new territory to operate.

Bet not everyone knows how to do this with the emoticons here...

Yes, i know. These things though can still be true though as the time period i am taking about has no official garbage disney release. It is pathetic that people have to cling onto disneys every word. Anything before episode 4 on back should be canon. Anything during episode 4 and on should be disneys new territory to operate.

Remember it's garbage Disney that's giving you Ep 7 :lol

No, the things that should be cannon, are the things that are actually cannon. Episodes 1-6 (then 7-9 when they come out) Clone Wars and Rebels. Done.

I've loved some of the EU stuff, but the bottom line was always that it was a rather take it or leave it set of stories within the official canon, even before Disney took over.

You are obviously welcome to believe whatever you want, but believing or wanting don't make it true.

The reference to truth is kind of humorous when all of this is fiction anyway. I understand what you're saying though. We MUST believe what the company with the license tells us, and please be sure to pay them at the door :lol

Noooo... We just need to watch the movies to know that multiple Stormtrooper heights are absolutely screen-accurate, and that Luke was not in fact short for a Stormtrooper. :)

Not half as humorous as people getting their knickers in a twist over what has always essentially amounted to fan fiction not being included in the current timeline of events.

What is it that makes the EU an acceptable reference for the truth, but not official statements?

As I say, people are free to believe what they want. But if I make up a story about Kenobi chopping his balls off when igniting his lightsaber for the first time, it carries as much weight as the stuff made up by people outside of Lucasfilm for the EU books and comics. Even Lucas himself wasn't fussed for it (but didn't mind it as it made him cash)

People just seem to have issue with the fact that Disney now own it.

Obviously Stormtroopers are different heights in the movie. It is what it is from the casting calls. In some of the early merchandise, and I'm thinking of those poster magazines from the late 70's, it detailed a backstory for stromtroopers which mentioned they were clones. Not sure if the source came from Lucasfilm material at the time, but it was published in the same magazines that said Chewbacca was previously a slave to the Empire. None of this was in the movie of course.

With the prequels came more affirmation of clones. With Disney and the Rebels TV show, we now have affirmation that mostly non-clones are the stormtroopers. What Lucas' original vision was, god only knows???

And I am thankful for that. Just hate the way they handle the EU stories. The clone wars books and comics should have been canon. KOTOR should have been canon. Darth Bane trilogy, Darth Plageuis.... etc.... should have been canon. I can understand the stuff past episode 4.... but no excuse the PT and earlier stories should have been kept as canon.

I personally have concerns with Disney and the new regime, but we'll see what Episode 7 brings. If it's a flop, I know more than a few Star Wars fans that will be ready to bury Disney.

Trying to stay on topic, I ordered a HT Stormtrooper and looking forward to its arrival. When he comes, I'll ask him if he's canon. If he says no, I'll send him back and post more comments here :)

And then of course the hundreds of books and comics that disney will be pumping out will be canon..... So.....

Yes, buy why get the hardcore fans upset by scraping EVERYTHING. Sure the casuals will watch the movies, collectors will by the high end props and figures, but the hardcore fans will be the ones buying the books, comics, hasbro figures.....

Why comment on stuff you know nothing about? Have you read any Star Wars book? Any comic? Most of your posts have come off as rude and ignorant or just trying to be some sarcastic funny man from one post..... "stormies should be same height". And it turns into all this..........

So many people on this site have problems with..... guess what....... STATEMENTS THAT DIFFER FROM THERE OWN.

No point in posting in this thread, A light hearted comment gets this much hate. I try to defend it and more hate. Really pathetic.

My two pack was delivered yesterday, but I haven't had a chance to get these guys out until this evening.

They are pretty much perfect. I am really tempted to order another two pack now.

Photos do not do these things justice.

I had similar marks on the back of the legs. I used some water and scrubbed some of it off. The mr clean magic eraser got the rest off.
