As irritating as it is to receive figures with pieces that have fallen off or with a blemish or any other QC issue, I'm going for the DIY fix first. Returns are even more irritating to me. I'm an instant gratification type of person so I want my figure on the shelf the day I receive it. I don't want to have to wait up to 2 weeks for a small part to be shipped out to me. Add in the back and forth emails, having to supply pictures or the damage, confirming they received the pics of said damage, and then destroying the defective part and sending even more pics of the destroyed item. Ugh.

Now, everybody wants to receive a perfect figure, myself included. They're not cheap and fixing things yourself can run the risk of making things worse or even voiding the "warranty." But if it's a choice of adding a dab of glue versus all the BS I wrote above, glue wins.

Just received my fourth trooper today that I actually forgot I had preordered. Initial inspection revealed a paint rub on the top of the bucket. I rubbed and scratched at with my fingernail but nothing helped. Thought I was going to have to initiate the replacement process with SS but wanted to try something I'd heard about. Took a dab of toothpaste on a soft cloth and buffed it for about 30 seconds. I wiped off the residue and sure enough, no more paint rub. No scratches or anything, just a brand new, shiny bucket.

Sorry for the long winded story but just wanted to let you guys know that if you receive your troopers with any paint rubs or mares to the armor, try the toothpaste trick before you ask for a replacement. I'm sure rubbing compound would work the same way of you have it.

Cool to know about this!!

That still wouldn't be considered canon in my book. To me canon means on-screen. Plain and simple. Books, comics, and all that is not on screen material and like someone else said is glorified fan fiction. I also wouldn't consider anything video game related as canon.

Battlefront 3 will be canon, it leads into a period right before and during Episode 7.

Really cool shot!! :clap

Just remember, without the EU, Boba Fett is rotting away inside a sarlacc...

Stormtroopers are many different heights. I never questioned it as a kid.

Totally fine with that. ;) Unless of course Fett turns into a meaningful/compelling character in the rumored stand-alone movie, in which case, they can always include a flash-forward or flashback scene, depending on when the movie takes place, to show him getting out.

No, the things that should be cannon, are the things that are actually cannon. Episodes 1-6 (then 7-9 when they come out) Clone Wars and Rebels. Done.

So does that mean Disney is prejudice against a Gay Mandolorian from Karen Traviss? :rotfl

George always did say that Boba Fett was supposed to have a connection to the storm troopers. Whether that was just in preproduction because of the white Fett suit or he actually meant to put it in the storyline is still up for debate. He most certainly had a connection to the clone troopers being the fact that he was a clone of the template Jango Fett. George's connection would've made sense IF some of the storm troopers were still clones. But that still remains to be seen.

He went back in the Blu Ray release and changed Boba's voice to sound like Jango's but never did anything to the storm troopers voices. That could suggest that the storm troopers we saw on screen were not in fact clones. But that doesn't mean there were still some in the Star Wars universe. That of course would be expanded universe and technically not canon.

Even Hasbro went as far as making their reveal storm troopers look like Jango. In fact the only reveal storm trooper that did not look like Jango was the space trooper. He actually looked like the actor who played him from a behind the scenes pic. Of course this is Hasbro we are talking about. Their parent company Kenner made Hans Hoth coat blue for Gods sake!

I'd be interested to hear George's thoughts and/or Disney's on the subject.

??? Obi-Wan was like 35-ish at the end of Ep 3. ANH happens when Luke and Leia are in their early 20s so Obi would be mid 50's.

The clones were adults in the span of let's say 5 years. In 20 years AFTER they were adults they would be like 120 years old.

Boba was like 8-12 years old in Ep 2 and he looks like he could be in his mid 30's in Ep 5.

Obi wan shouldnt be dead and yes some clones could have survived if they were the last batches from Kamino

If you're talking about Jango Clones, each clone grew 2 years per year. Which in the time gap between Epi 1 and 2 is 10 which means clones are 20. Which means in 20 years in Epi 4 they were 60.
