I just can't jump on the set at BBTS, at 439 US it's like 600 Canadian at the current exchange rate, that's just insane. Only really want one of them anyway because I PO'd the Spacetrooper.

Made me look. Seeing the BBTS price increase makes me want to track down another 2-pack at retail but it looks like they're really gone everywhere.
Plus, I already bought a second 2-pack and ended up selling both figures. Wanted to keep a second tall but with Spacetrooper and Luketrooper and then Hantrooper at some point, who needs all those Stormies.

BBTS is pretty good about the condition of their packaging since they deal with collectors. I bought a "sub-standard" Ivy PF from them and it had the slightest dent in the front of the box. Had to hunt for it to find it.

I'm surprised they bother to rate when they don't give you a discount on "substandard". Just psychologically that sucks.

Pain in the ace to get multiple space troopers though as its exclusive and limited to one per account. Would have to start hitting up friends and relatives. Also I believe its still unknown if they easily convert to standard troopers?

That's true, I forgot. Multiples will be harder to come by. Except for Canadaclone. He's got to get two at the very least or I'll lose all respect.

Don't think they can convert to reg troopers. You will need a spare breastplate to swap out.

Especially as they seem to raise the price as they sell out. That would mean, more often than not, people are paying more for a "sub-standard" product.

I grabbed a spare breast plate from TA for $13, but I think I'd be happy to display the Spacetrooper, plus it's seems like a time consuming swap. The chest plate has to be removed obviously and I think the shoulders have to be removed as well, and maybe even the lower chest/groin piece.
