We don't have your tax though and I use PayPal (so it's bank to bank) with them so it ends up as $354 plus $31 shipping, so $385 total in cart. If I actually start to go through with it through PayPal it shows up as a bit more $393 -- still a great deal when they're sold out just about everywhere else and are being shipped across the globe. Shipping from SS was $20 for the set and took just as long as these probably would.

The set I bought from SS last march (with coupon and rewards factored in) was $381. And PC does seem to offer their pennies too.

If everyone had ordered before production, during initial PO, they would have made even more, but seeing as there are people who have many troopers, I think they made quite a lot of them in any case - more than many other figures likely when you factor in singles and doubles. I wanted two and ended up with three.

I wanted 2 and ended up with 4. They are like a packet of chips, you just keep going back for more.

Oh, that's right! But those PC pennies are tougher to use because they go by a threshold system (really bugs me) where they can't be used until you achieve certain thresholds, e.g. 1500 points (i.e. so you can have 1425 pennies, but can only use 750 for a purchase at that time, 750 being the previous lower threshold,) unlike SSC RP's where they are a currency that can ALL be used any time regardless of how many you have.

And that's interesting - I would have thought banks would charge a foreign currency fee.

I got a two-pack before they sold out at BBTS but after finding out that the Luke, and presumably Han, Stormies can either wear their helmets or they can be swapped out for helmeted heads, I wish I hadn't.

Yeah, not sure why people would want the stormie two pack when the Luke and Han stormies are the same thing with bonus heads for only around $60 more for the two. Considering that TA charges $70+ for each HT head, you're getting a $140-150 value for only $60.

I also assumed that the stormie helmets were just a hand-held accessory, not that you could actually convert both figs into actual stormies and even use the Luke/Han heads for other figures if you choose.

Depending on how the smiley Han stormie head looks, I'm probably going to grab him even though I already have two tall singles.

I've POed the Stormie Luke and will likely do the same with Stormie Han. Any disappointment I have with getting what seems to be a superfluous two-pack will be largely mitigated if Vader turns out great and they can wind up flanking him.

I have the 2 pack Stormies on the way and will likely also pick up both Luke and Han in disguise versions because you can use them all as Stormies or in two different displays.

I just bought this set from Pop Cultcha my total came out to $394.20 shipped to California. My first order from these guys so I'm very curious to see how it will turn out... Thanks MyeNShi for the heads up...

Anybody have any personal experiences from Pop Cultcha. I'm a little worried due to buying from an international store.

They seem like a very reputable establishment. I'm waiting for a single Stormtrooper order from them (seems to be held up in customs in NY) but not worried in the least based on the experience of others.

Popcultcha is legit as it comes, so you won't have any problems with them. I received two orders yesterday. Two of my AoU figures were sent in their original shipper boxes and wrapped together in heavy duty bubble wrap. The other two figures were in their original boxes and placed in another cardboard box.

I've gotten a couple items from Australia (not PopCultcha) and that's exactly how they were both wrapped. Shipper box and bubble wrap outside, art box was fine in both cases.

They're usually really quick. I'm in CT, and it usually was taking about a week or less (about the same as from Sideshow in California). This latest one seems to be stuck in NY since last Wednesday. So every day I keep thinking to myself, It'll be here tomorrow. Not apparently, just checked tracking and it still says NY. So close!
