Don't misunderstand. I can't stand the prequels - I think they're generally terrible. But I don't think that because it's a cool thing to do, nor do I think it makes me any more cool. I just love movies, especially great movies, and I don't think they're good movies on any level, whether it be story or production.

And I don't think Hot Toys is trying to convey any type of bashing with the comment you noted. In Star Wars, troopers weren't especially tall and they came in all sizes. I'm loving this release because we don't have to be stuck with carbon copy figures if we want more than one. I couldn't care less about the exclusive items - if you do, then they'll be super easy to get aftermarket. If the pricing rumors are true, you can just get two singles and the only extra you pony up are the exclusive items.

I actually don't think so. I'm 27. I was 12 for TPM, 15 for AOTC and 18 for ROTS. I think I'm the perfect age for the prequels which might be why I see past the problems. I watched anakin basically grow with me.

Maybe it's regional I don't know.

Same here, I'm 27. Having not grown up with the OT like many OT fans have I don't have that natural dislike for the PT as many do. I don't love them and I don't hate them. However they're not ones I put in the blu ray player though like I do with the OT. I'll watch them if they're on TV.

I still like them, honestly ROTS is my favorite of the saga. as for other movies i like, well thats getting off topic..but ill say whatever ones pay me..i work in the industry. nothing that cool unfortunately.

Good for you. Now you're going to have to grit your teeth and bare thru yet another "cool period" for the OT.

The PT will get its day. My guess: after Episode VII cools off... in 2017 after the PT has had a long breather.

I'll admit, while I completely despise the Prequels and wouldn't buy Anakin myself, I can relate to the frustration that people who are interested in him must feel. To have Hot Toys answer vaguely for months, then state "not now", "some day" after anticipating it for so long does suck. I can feel your pain.
