I'm glad I waited until the end of IX to see if he'd have any extra outfits or anything. I like the white jedi robes but even in IX Mark frankly just seemed to be in way worse shape. I think this look is the best he's looked in the ST, and glad it's going to be his outfit for a lot of the comics it seems...

Bummed I passed up a few deals on this guy now. Gonna have to grab him, luckily he's not hard to get under retail at the moment

I completely agree. This is probably the best he?s going to look in the 3rd trilogy.

I don't know why but in TROS he felt like he was almost playing ANH Luke and not the aged Luke we'd seen up to this point. And yeah he seems a little hefty and his hair was wild lol.

I'm looking for a Hot Toys Luke for my star wars collection. I'm leaning towards this version. This version seems like how he would look at the peak of his prime.

I didn't like TLJ but after ROS (which wasn't perfect) I am considering this figure.

This should've been his force ghost look too IMO. Not sure why JJ decided to have the intentionally disheveled Luke from his island exile be the force ghost appearance. You'd think it could be kinda like Anakin where it's their ideal/true selves.

If you haven't read the Rise of Kylo Ren comic, I'd consider grabbing it. The previews have Luke in his prime in this outfit, green saber, fighting Knights of Ren

Luke isn't as vain as Anakin so his ghost looked like he did when he died, just like Old Ben and Yoda.

Finally decided and got this version. Just purchased it, I know the movie wasn't a hit. I see this will go up in value. Just my opinion. It was this vs ROTJ Luke. I like how they are using this in the comics. Makes it more desirable for me.

I'm guessing it was just because Rey interacted with the older Luke on the island before, and they wanted to keep that same dynamic between them. Agree though that Hamill looked pretty bad in that scene, and they could have at least trimmed the hair and beard and made him look less like a hobo.

I personally like the look they chose for him as a Force ghost. His Jedi Master robes to me gave him more of an OT Obi-Wan look.

But I agree with DJ that he looked a bit homely in his FG scene; even more so than what he looked in TFA and TLJ.
