Just opened both my stormtroopers, name plates read correctly (reg & deluxe), armor fits a lot better on these compared to the new hope versions. Sorta feels like the Rogue One troopers though. The subtle weathering really adds as a nice detail to these, I like the dirty look. I still prefer the aesthetic of the new hope stormtroopers to these jedi ones. Most likely I'll be converting these to sandtrooper's, like all my other stormtroopers.

Temporary home until I finish reorganizing my display.

Did anyone else order one of these thru Timewalker? Received an email letting me know that the morons at Sideshow, instead of sending them a bunch in a large box, they sent them individually (and of course, as they do for individual orders, the cheap dicks didn’t double box); so, ALL of them arrived with damaged shippers and art boxes. Contents are okay, I guess, as TW had to go thru all of them to make sure. I don’t know who’s running that company now, but someone needs to lose their job. Really bad form.

I got my Wonder Woman from SS last week. It arrived fine, thankfully. I'm in Canada and they shipped DHL. I paid close to $100 USD between SS's shipping, DHL's "Handling and Duty" and the basic sales tax. Ridiculous.

That's just great. Haven't gotten that email yet. Sideshow is trash anymore. I hope timewalker forces them to take the troppers back and provide good ones.

To be clear, Timewalker only received 9 figures thus far — not their entire order, folks. They will be receiving more next week. They sent an email to some of us to see if we didn’t mind if the art box and shipper had some damage. If you are worried about that sort of thing, don’t worry — Timewalker will send only undamaged stuff to you. I don’t collect boxes, so I was willing to accept one of the ones that had box damage, but no contents damage. I know a lot of people here collect boxes, and it’s as important as the contents, so don’t worry. Sorry if there was any confusion — I was merely pointing out the poor shipping decisions that Sideshow delivered to Timewalker, but that wasn’t going to be what the customers receive.

I like him, but Stormtrooper variants are figures I look forward to least. They're like ticking off a checklist, and don't require much setting up before they go on the shelf.

The Endor collection has been growing very slowly. The Biker Scout has been alone for some time, and now he has some Imperial company.

The Rebel Commandos have also been alone for a very long time, and will eventually have Luke, Leia and Wicket.

(It looks like the forum is still reducing the size of photos, and squashing the text into a smaller area. However, editing and saving the post makes it display correctly).

Nice Endor lineup there. I?m in the same position. Feel like I need one or two for my future Endor display, but the least exciting of all those (Luke, Leia, Wicket, the eventual Han and Scout trooper).

Thanks. The Rebels were among my first Sideshow Star Wars figures when I decided to upgrade from Hasbro. They're a little brightly coloured, but with new bodies and sculpts they still serve me well even after all these years. Always thought Sideshow would've tackled Hoth rebels too.

I normally buy the deluxe version of a figure if there's the option, but with this Stormtrooper I didn't think that the plastic back drop would be very useful. Especially when the cost was so much greater. I figured I'd need to put about four of them together to make them worthwhile. So just one base Stormtrooper this time to check the ROTJ box.

I bought 10 of those Hasbro Rogue One Interactech troopers when they were on sale at Argos for ?3.99 each. Very basic articulation, but surprisingly good, crisp sculpts. I can put them into the background to bulk up numbers wherever necessary.

(The forum doesn't like the pound sign either, and replaced it with a ?)

Nice rebel troopers! They can be serviceable with some work, I need to get on it. And i agree, a real shame Hoth troopers were never made.

I passed on the backdrops too and just went with three standard stormies. The backdrops are nice but $50 a crack seemed steep. I wouldn't have used them with these Endor troopers anyway, they would have had to go to other figures.

I haven?t received anything from Sideshow damaged box or anything

I spoke with Steve at Timewalker. Strykers statement is a bit of an exaggeration. Timewalker did not receive their full shipment. Instead they received nine figures total. All of which were shipped separately and damaged in shipping. They've now returned those nine for their full shipment which should be in good shape. They will likely be in the mail sometime next week.

Yeah, I spoke to Steve also (who is extremely responsive) this weekend. He said they were hoping to have them all shipped out last week, but due to the issues Riggs mentioned, they should begin shipping this Tuesday.

I have no problem waiting for the cheaper price, double boxing, and service.

Mine got snagged this time too..... first time for an item I?ve ordered from HK. Bandits!

Do you think you got caught due to the falling value of the pound making your declared value over ?15, and thereby liable for customs charges?
