Nice. Definitely wise! All of these in stock SW figures are drying up fast. I went ahead and got a couple more regular ones to go along with the two I have. I'm sure those will be next to hit waitlist.

I have a coupon and some points and can get the regular version of this with a pretty tight discount. Worth it? It'd be weird just to have 1 vs 2, but also I'm cheap.

Definitely worth it. Of all the troopers so far this has the best articulation. It's a lot of fun.

Only if you like or need the Death Star backdrop. It’s the best value to get the deluxe if you do, considering that piece is generally over $100 by itself on the bay.

I don't entirely think so but figured it would hold more value over the regular if I part with it in the future.

5. I've no idea... I suppose it's possible, but I haven't really heard of people faking Hot Toys figures as such, at most you can buy knock-offs of the head sculpts loose, but I've never seen entire figures...

There's no bootlegged boxed HT Stormtrooper figures, or even loose bootlegged that I know of. If you get anything with a box you'll be fine.

I've only ordered from them once but my package arrived from Hong Kong to the US in two days. I'm not exaggerating. The issue was they put tape all over the Hot Toys box, so if you like saving those (as I do), you might have to trash it as I did. The box also smelled really weird, which is another reason I tossed it.

You can also check out ToysBuyingAgent. However most places selling them new MISB will have higher prices now that this figure has sold out.
