Oh yea of course they wont. It will just be a big happy surprise if we see a 3rd figure done or the long wait with countless questions of if the lineis dead or not, to the realization that it is in fact dead. One of two ways so let's hope it's the former, not the latter.

I believe Hot Toys plans out whatever figures they are going to make well in advance and pretty much sticks to it regardless of how well a line does. Not only do they need to make the legal arrangements to secure the likeness rights with the actors involved, but I believe they have to predetermine the number of figures made with the license/IP holder ahead of time as well, since each and every figure they make has some kind of royalty or license cost associated with it. I assume that every contract is different of course, but I have to think that even "open-ended" contracts where the IP holder allows HT to determine if they want to make more than the original x number of figures agreed upon after those get made could cost HT some extra money for that kind of flexibility too. Eh, there's no way we'll know the details, so all we can do is just guess.

I'd rather see Amber but Sweetpea was a far more important character, who knows...

sweetpea for me. I think she'll come with better accessories too. Although, it would be kind of cool to see HT tackle the little lolly-pop for Amber

Nice to see futher confirmation two are coming. I think Amber is a lock for sure.

Would be strange if they released Sweet Pea instead of Babydoll, but HT has done stranger things (i.e. Comedian and Silk Spectre instead of Rorshach), Abbie Cornish is a lot more famous than Emily Browning so I wouldn't be surprised if she came instead of Babydoll.

My guess is that Babydoll is already assumed to be the first figure and that little pic is asking who you'd want to see next. I'd be shocked if they didn't start the line with the main character.

Abbie Cornish is a lot more famous than Emily Browning so I wouldn't be surprised if she came instead of Babydoll.

I don't think either have reached their height of popularity but at the moment I would say that it would go the other way around with Emily Browning being the more popular by a large margin. She's been one of the leads in almost every film she's been in and Lemony Snickets opened her up to a huge audience. I honestly can't think of an Abbie Cornish film I've seen, with the exception of Bright Star.

since the question specifically asks whether HT will do "more than the MAIN character" i'd assume baby doll is one of the 2 already coming.

could be that people are reading too much into that choice of picture for the mag page.

Out of Sweet Pea and Baby Doll, I'd prefer BD but I'd buy either to be honest.
