It's not that odd at all. For people like me I'm not really a "collector" - I dont just buy it cos I like it, I buy it cos it's a souvenier from the movie and I only really want souveniers or collectables to remind me of a movie I liked.

Even if the movie was great, I personnaly would still hesitate to buy immediatly anyway cos the movie hasnt stood the test of time nor have I grown up watching it (another souvenier, not just of the movie but of my childhood).

I agree with this 100%. That's why I don't collect everything in a line, I just have random figures. Though I did purchase a Jack Shephard figure but I don't really like his character. I just wanted something in my collection to represent Lost.

it's a must have this T-600, I sence an iconic filmcharacter
I doubt that very much, the T-800 endo who was also Arnold has already cemented that iconic status for itself in the first film. I dont think you can top that and I doubt it could surpass the T-1000 either.

T-1000 wasn't the best Terminator imo. I liked the design of TX better, an Endo covered with liquid metal skin to mimic the appearances. T-1000 seemed way too advance or far out for "Realistic Fiction" if you get my meaning.

I wasn't really talking about it being iconic cos of how it looked but rather of because of it's villainy. Robert Patrick gave a stone cold creepy performance that Kristanna Loken, let alone a CG special effect T-600, couldn't replicate.

O yeah, I agree about that. For me Mr. Patrick was the only other actor, after Arnie, who pulled off a Terminator character very well. I hated performances by Kristianna and those who portrayed or portray Terminators in TSCC.

Personally.. if I had to choose between the T-600, T-700 or the older, previously released T-800 (or even a T-1000 if that's ever been released!?) and I could ONLY get 1, I'd get the T-600. I just prefer the design and I like how huge it is. The T-600 figure will be as huge as a HT Predator. I'd like to see some in-hand pics because obviously size will be an issue if the final paint scheme blows, since flaws, etc. will be MORE obvious.

Sidenote: is HT now making diorama-bases for most of their releases now!? Started with the Cleaner Wolf (I believe) and now P1, Both new Terminators, etc.

Will you guys be bummed if the T-600 is just a background soldier or a one-scene "monster" to fight instead of an actual character?

There's so many things in T4 -- giant robots, motorcycle terms, T-600's, T-700's, Marcus -- that something is gonna get lost in the shuffle.

I'd choose the T-800 everytime. Why? Cos to me it is THE Terminator, the one we all grew to know and love throughout our childhood over the past 25 yrs. The fig is a nice reminder and souvenier of what I always loved as a kid and still do. Thats' the difference between someone like me and a "collector".

Obviously, no one has this "in-hand" yet to know for sure, but if you look at the drastic shift in Hot Toys 1/6 quality from a couple years ago until today with their "humans" (at least in head sculpts), you have to think that these Endos will also reflect an update in quality and look to some degree. I'm looking forward to seeing how they ultimately compare.

For me T-800 remains the classic and I wouldn't trade mine for any other type of Terminator, T-600 or T-700 ...
