Sadly no, with the pre-auth charge, I had to wait to for my CC payment to kick in before I could place it so I was later. I'm hoping for a Christmas miracle , but really, I'm not sure the shipments will be that far apart, they said January so that could even be shortly after the new year.

EDIT: I will say this though. He definately is the best Dent/Two-Face figure out there. And Agens pics above are the first ones I've seen that make me want it (there are some out there though that make it look horrible).

I think at this point, without having the figure, its all about proper pictures. there were definitely many unflattering pictures of TDK Bats, V1 joker and maybe even BR Joker that made people think twice. I remember when some of the first TDK batman pictures came out a lot of folks were hesitant, saying it looked too bulky. I for one think it looks amazing in person. Also V1 joker's clothing just needs futzing and they fit great. I will agree, some of the close ups don't make me wow at the quality but i think once its in hand i will be pretty satisfied.

i am going to pick up my Two Face from Toys2 after work if i can on Monday next week, was in there yesterday to pick up a Asian true type, he did tell me that he would be getting in that Hot Toys US Secret Service Agent as well, the female one.

A pure photo thread will never happen, pictures get posted and they stir up discussion, it's the natural course. Other than having the first page of the thread filled with in hand photos, there's really little gain to starting a separte one.

It's not about the price and it's not about me trying to be different, I just do not like the way he turned out.

I was talking about my own inclinations as well. If this were a $60-100 figure I'd have it no questions asked. But $150-200??? That won't happen very often for me, I could never justify spending that much on several figures. And the idea is that they are so high priced because of higher quality, I do expect Hot Toys to be better than Sideshow.

But this Two-Face is about as close to an exact likeness as a mass produced figure could get, IMO.

Unless I'm proven wrong down the road by another figure...

I just caught all this and I'm going to assume it was directed towards me instead of twoface.

This is all in my opinion of course. I just don't like the final look of him. The figure looks really awkward (bulky clothes, soft head sculpt). It's not about the price and it's not about me trying to be different, I just do not like the way he turned out. The prototype perfectly captured Eckhart's likeness, this one? It looks like it was rushed (though it could and probably is just the mass produced paint job). People in their right mind can't tell me that the end result doesn't look more like a younger version of Bill Pullman than it does Aaron Eckhart.

How come when someone states that they don't like something, other members jump on their ^^^^ for not conforming and say "oh they must just be bitter because of the price or have the means to buy this figure"? I remeber a few people got ripped because they liked the Takara Batman more than the Begins Batman and the response to that one was "you're just looking for a justification not to buy it". Same scenario here. I like my HT Begins Batman suit, I like both Jokers, but from what I've seen so far I just don't like or understand the hype towards this Dent figure. I definately have the means to purchase him (when I first saw the prototypes pics I knew I had to have him and preordered) but now that we have photos of the actual product, I'm just not impressed. It's not fact by any means, just my opinion.

Pretty sure it was directed at twoface who simply said it looked like crap.

I think the weakness in likeness may be the size and shape (profile) of the nose. The likeness is still pretty close though.

You don't need to link me the thread, I get it, but I'm point out, this is how it always goes, I don't get why peopleare still surprised this is how Photo threads end up. Half the reason of having photos posted is to discuss them, and it's pointless to have photos in one thread and discussion off in another, the discussion is most relevant right with the photos.
