I should have mine sometime this week, being shipped today, so yeah, some pics will start rolling in soon. After watching the movie again, and comparing, i can SOOO see what it is about the TF head that was bothering me, and it IS what i thought it was - the completely straight black line, separating the two sides of the face. in the movie, it's pretty damn red, all the way down, there are just a couple of black patches here and there, down the centre/more to his left side, before it gets really charred. Wonder if i should try fix it up....nahhhhh, too expensive a figure to mess with

Have you guys ever heard of xl-shop.com? The site is having some difficulties because it only wants to load for me every other time, but they have their Two-Faces in stock for $140 USD. I imagine that they are Hong Kong based so the shipping would probably be around the $40 mark and you might get import taxes too. I don't plan on ordering one since I already have a DCD pre-order, but if anybody is interested you might want to check that site out.

Ya, they're often the first to have in hand pics of a lot of the HT and Medicom stuff being a local shop.

when the toys2-ordered twofaces start arriving, you will undoubtedly see a fair amount of HT twofaces hitting ebay sellers in the US. chances for ppl to get them will be good and then whoever didnt will have to wait till june.

Thats class to be honest!

That picture does show the coin is undersized. I have big hands and a quarter is the width of my thumb like Two-Faces. Oh well, not a deal breaker, but an interesting observation.

You know a figure is well done when the nitpicks are about the accessories. :lol

Read over this thread.. it's not just the accessories. There's the cheap paper-esqe tie. The paint job on the burned side of the face. The burned side being just as big as the normal side (which is wrong). The missing details in the burned side of the face. The eyeliner. The ugly seams on the hands. The hands in general looking ugly and big. Etc. Etc.

Bottomline, like usual with HT: they put the best depiction of something out that bests everything else on the market, yet has a number of flaws. Typical. Just shows how mediocre their competition is.

From the pics I've seen so far, it doesn't seem that bad to me...

paper thin tie? doesnt look like that at all. the jokers tie was kinda like that, paper-ish but it did not hinder the figure at all.

Err...yes it did. Along with the inability to close the collar correctly, the tie was a poor effort. Flimsy, weak and inaccurate.

I absolutely hate Joker's tie. They really went cheap on the material and design. I also don't like the fact I can't close this collar because it can't reach all the way around the neck. But what is wrong with the velcro? I much prefer it over the large snaps Sideshow uses.

The problem with velcro, at least in Joker's case, for me is it's cheap and inneffective. If you're going to pose him once and leave him on the shelf for years at a time, it's probably ok, but if you do any fair ammount of posing, the vest fits so tight on him that any movement of the abdomen wants to tug on it and pry it apart. After my photo work, the velcro on mine hardly even sticks. I actually spen today removing it and adding snaps so it'll hold closed on the figure. Velcro's okay as long as it's strong and hidden, but it was neither on the Joker so it was a bit of a let down.
