Maglor, you and Neo are seriously my favorite photographers on here. Awesome pics!
Wow man, I don't know what to say. Neo is my favorite photographer here as well, so maybe there are some similarities. But seriously, he's way out of my league. I'm just using a point and shoot with a tripod. Perhaps someday if I get a DSLR I'll be able to compete with the big boys.
(Didn't I sell you that one a while ago?)
Was that you? I honestly don't remember who I bought it from. Does that price sound about right? $65 or $69 or something?
Great deal. The figure has some issues, but for the price I couldn't be happier. And I love owning Seb's work.
Wow -- WITH the Seb paint!? NICE!
Yep. Seb painted both the head and the jacket.
But he came only with what you see. One set of hands, and no box. But it has the coin and the gun. It's not the Hot Toys suit, and the suit Seb used has pants that are tailored really weird. The waist is ridiculously high. But if I keep the jacket lapels close together (there are no buttons on the suit) and futz the tie right, you can't tell. That's my only real complaint about the figure.
The shoulders were way to wide but that's Hot Toys' fault, and I fixed that with my dremel.
And Portishead rocks! I can't believe you have that. Didn't think anyone else ever noticed them.
Portishead is in my top 3 favorite bands of all time. And I'm a little in love with Beth Gibbons.
My wife and I just saw Portishead in Seattle this past Sunday. We were 3 people back from the rail... like my sig says: Best. Show. Ever.
I had full body goosebumps at least 3 times despite the fact that up front there it was muggy and hot. If you get a chance to see them live, jump at it.
Sorry for the off topic pic, but I gotta share one I snapped at the show:
