Agreed 100%

He's a supporting villain, similar to Scarecrow in BB. An entire film with JUST Two-Face or JUST Scarecrow would be terrible imo.

Scarecrow was necessary to show Batman's affect on Gotham... He was once at the top of the criminal ladder, and now pushing his drugs from a van...

Batman used his cape to slow the fall and Rachel landed on top of him. Thats not a relative comparison at all.

And Dent is dead. Nolan already said he wants to do a different villain for each film. Nolan is too brilliant of a director to go back to something weve already seen.

The car they landed on got crushed. It you don't just crush a car lying down on it. They hit pretty hard. Granted Batman did slow them down a little and the suit took some of the impact, but they both still hit hard.

And Batman fell of the same fall and Harvey. He was fine. Again, sure he was wearing the Batsuit, but I don't think the suit made the difference from surviving the fall or not. Harvey could have just been knocked out.

And I wouldn't expect Two-face to be the main villian, but a supporting villian again. Larger than Scarecrow's role in TDK anyway, but not bigger than Scarecrow's role in BB.

I think Black Mask would make a good villian. He's a mobster. He would represent how the Joker and Batman have affected the mob. Now the mob dressed up to terrorize people. The argument of whether Batman has made things better or worse could really be used in this film. The mob has changed in reaction to Batman's presence. I'm just not sure Black Mask is a "big" enough villian to carry the film though. Maybe throw Scarecrow back in (again)? Or introduce another realistically done villian like Riddler or Penguin (another mob boss maybe? A rival? Maybe lead to a mob war?).

one hell of a twist would be to have Two Face return towards the end of the next film. Dont think at all that it would actually happen, but imagine that - two face shows up, this time fate deciding he helps batman... HMMM...

:lol I wish I could fall from that high up and just be knocked out. Saying "sure he was wearing the Batsuit, but I don't think the suit made the difference from surviving the fall or not" is like saying "sure he was wearing a seat belt, but I don't think the seat belt made the difference from surviving the car crash or not".

I agree. I don't think Nolan and Eckhart succeeded in making this charater as good as he can be. If you take the Two Face character from Batman The Animated Series he was a great villain who could hold a story and even have the potential to be the only villain in a Batman movie. Batman always seems to have two villains though. Only exception is Joker is 89. I love the two face character and the idea and story line that surrounds him but not how he was portrayed in The Dark Knight. I don't like Echart so that probably has a large part to do with it. After Batman has caught the Joker and leaves him dangling, thats the end of the movie for me, I don't care about the remaining two face plot line. Two Face is the only Hot Toys Dark Kinght figure I havnt bought.

Hmm well I really enjoyed the Nolan / Eckhart twoface, but I respect the fact that his character arc ended with the Dark Knight, I think it suited the character perfectly and i really think they did more than justice with the character. Sure would have been great to have a long halloween style murder mystery plot with harvey involved but it wouldn't have really fit with Heath's joker...

I agree a 110%. Loved long halloween and you are right it would have been cool but exactly it would not have fit at all.

Yeah it was very well done imho, he served the purpose exactly the way was intended, to show the effect of what the whole film was trying to push home.
Maggie isnt the most attractive gal, but hell, i'd hit it sideways! And i don't have low standards lol. I dunno, she's ok, i've seen worse. She's got nice eyes, as in colorwise. I LOVE light eyes
