I'm not denying the headsculpt is the most expensive part. But everything else on top will contribute to the price. SS costs $50 because you pay that just for the headsculpt. The clothes they stole from a 1:6 charity shop.

For what they're gonna charge, the likeness should be more than just "acceptable" and should also be considerably better than a figure 1/3 the price.

See? It's things like this that lead to the HT fanboy label.

Again, I pose the question, how sad is it that we get a better likeness on a "bobbleheaded" figure with "charity shop" clothes that's only 1/3 of the price? For what HT's gonna be charging, I expect a mini Linda Hamilton. At Sideshow's $50, I could easily forgive the failed likeness. But at HT's pricepoints, no.

The eyes are too close together making her almost look like she's downs in the bangs shot, the nose looks a bit too piggish (it should be more rounded - look at the pic I posted a few pages back), and there's something about the mouth that's not selling it. Maybe it's the lower lip?

By all means call me a Terminator Fanboy but I am not a Hot Toys fanboy. They have made plenty of mistakes in my book but this figure isn't one of them.

How so? I'm holding the top 1:6 company to the high standards I expect when purchasing their products. For $30 more I could just buy a female TT to swap the SS over to, spend $10 on clothes and have the perfect Sarah. I want better from HT. How does that make me an SS fanboy?

I looked at your comparison pics and again I just don't see it that way. Looks like Linda Hamilton to me. I respect your opinion but just disagree on this. Looking forward to seeing it once released. Mike

Mate! The image of Connor in Salvation in your sig, when I watched my blu ray of it, i'm sure that scene had been cut out? Don't remember seeing it :S

I just have to chime in and say I think the sculpt looks very little like Hamilton from the movie. Her mouth is too far from her nose, making her look more like Giovanni Ribisi or Bruce Willis. Everything else looks great though.

The figure looks a little boring and lifeless in my eyes.
Not so impressed, but her face is very good
and this is a much better presentation of Sarah Connor then SS version IMO
