Nah, just off elements to the sculpt I'm sure. Yulli is very skilled, but for whatever reason, maybe it's HT not giving her enough time or maybe it's just limits to her abilities, she has portraits she just can't get. Both her Wayne sculpts were pretty weak for depicting Christian Bale, yet her Ledger Jokers and her Arnie's totally convey who they're supposed to represent, even if not perfect.

- points for not getting the joke. Wendy Carlos (who used to be Walter Carlos) is the transexual who did the soundtrack for A Clockwork Orange. That post was pure sarcasm. :p

I figured, but since I didn't know what you were saying, figured I'd just roll with a thought I had :lol

Eager for tomorrow's newsletter, I want to find out the specs on this figure and see just what she comes with, we pretty much knew the T-800's accessories from the magazine scan before the specs ever came out, but right now we're in the dark with Sarah, and depending on what we find, could be some really interesting things breaking into some new ground for figures.

I know her rifle from the scene at Dysons home should have a removable silencer on it, Hot Toys should have taken notice of this.

Why do you think the silencer is missing, the photo on page 1 is cut off but looks like if you could see the rest it'd look same as Sideshow's.

Oh ok, i took a look at it again..it does have the silencer attached.

Why does SSC version have holes in the silencer anyway?, i think that may be wrong..could have swore it was just solid black with no holes.

I think these shots now, come to think of it are before she adds the suppressor.

This rifle is a fictional version, according to the link below.

"She removes the flash hider and adds a sound suppressor, along with a laser pointer and an ACOG scope. Later in the film during the scene in which Sarah, John, and the T-800 try to escape in a SWAT van as the T-1000 pursues in a police chopper, Sarah uses two CAR-15 rifles, one a mock Sporter II the other a slab-side AR-15 Sporter 1 carbine converted to look like a CAR-15 as well (like the guns in The Dogs of War)."

only two slit openings on the tip of the gun, this must be before she adds the suppressor.

BINGO!!

Those aren't holes, those are dimples in the suppressor:

I see holes in it here.

That's the flash hider, not a suppressor.

Its hard to make out dimples on this guns suppressor, pre-dyson scene. But, SS got it wrong anyway, since it has the scope and maybe laser pointer but, no cover on the suppressor.

I see what NAM is saying now though, in regards to the cover..SSC got it right then, if it is indeed the same style of cover used in the movie.

Not understanding "cover." She would've screwed off the long flash hider (XM-177 style which is about 5"-6" long - it's the entire thick piece at the end of the barrel) and screwed on the suppressor. It originally comes on the 177 which has a shorter barrel but looks like they attached it to a standard M4 A1 for T2 which is why the barrel looks so long in the Mexico pic:

Yup, i got it now.So, i wonder now if pieces like the scope and laser, suppressor etc.. could be removed from the Hot Toys rifle, though this figure is indeed a scene specific one.

I love all the weapons analysis :D too bad one rifle is already one too many according to my woman :p
oh in 1:1 scale that is, I can have many 1:6 ones cause they don't make sounds that scare my woman :p

So according to IMFDB, the machine gun from the SWAT van is the same as she used on Dyson's house, just slightly different configuration? It'd be nice if this figure came with both versions, or at least a way for it to be either or.

Though I do hope more for her to include the Remington.

Worst case scenario, all these pieces are available parted out through the various different modern 1:6 military carriers (TA, Viking Playground, Monkey Depot and worst case scenario, EbaY). But at HT's pricepoint, they should include them. Especially since they've already produced most of them with their military line. Giving us a barebones Sarah ala Billy would be a HUGE letdown.

Well precisely, there is buying them later, but it'd be nice just to buy a figure armed with all the bits it should include, plus the price goes up including cost of those extra bits when in theory, for the same price the figure sells at, you could have gotten it with everything.
