So you're saying they got her right, right? She looked like a crack whore in the movie. The only difference between her and a crack whore was her ability to do pull-ups.
Well, this was a must have no matter what for me, so price tag is now under $100 for me after rewards points. The only problem is that I will be among the last on the planet to actually get her in hand since I have to wait for Sideshow to get them first.
It's an interesting expression on the sculpt, it looks like she's in her Judgement Day dream watching the events unfold in horror, doesn't have that Sarah on the warpath expression.
I agree. Maybe that's what is turning me off of this one. I think she looks great with the glasses on but not so much with them off. Hopefully HT refines this one a bit before production.
Im sure they will. Theres already a massive amount of complaints and it just went up for preorder about an hour ago.

I agree that the sculpt does need to be tweaked and that the price is a bit steep but I still have to have it. I would assume HT's will improve this one (sculpt) before it starts to ship. Otherwise it looks great imo.

I wish the gallery featured some shots from the back and sides. She looks pretty good and it seems like the arm bends enough for gun-holding poses (although it does look a little weird around the elbow).
I'm glad they went with sculpted hair...the Silver Spectre looks a little too doll-like with that rooted hair.
It'll be interesting to see if this one gets tweaked a bit before release. I think the sculpts...okay..I see LH in it, but it still seems a bit off. That's why I was hoping for other angles besides all of the almost-straight-on ones...

I'll be taking it but what Maulfan said is true - the hair in ponytail was only a tiny fraction of her screentime in this outfit so it has less worth to me than the hair down look would have.
Including that shotgun but not having a hair-down sculpt now comes across as a tease. I won't be using that gun with Sarah because its not accurate to the headsculpt and yet I have no other figure who could use it, it'll just be lying on the shelf at her feet.
Sigh...maybe NECA will do one from the steel mill, I'd be all over that.

Yep, they got the hair color wrong too. Looks auburn here should be sandy brown/dirty blonde. Belt wrong color, tank top wrong color, sculpt needs tweaking, but the hat is nice, great new body, accessories all good, just needs more work and paying closer attention to correct source material.
I am gonna sit on this for quite a while, deciding whether to purchase the full fig, or pick up parted out items. Also, whether Seb can mod long hair for a FB Sarah as I'm happy with my Les repainted Trev Sideshow Custom. So, now leaning on making a FB Sarah.

I actually like the figure more now that you said that. I love the fact that she protrays that emotion in the sculpt. That's what is going on inside Sarah. She is not a happy woman, and the only time she is angry or a hard-ass is when she absolutely has to be to survive or protect her son. For me, the perfect figure would show the internal fight that motivates her actions, and it does that well, especially for a version designed to best depict the assault on the Dyson home. The whole time she looked like this was from the moment she had the dream while napping at the bench, to the time she was about to end Dyson's life in front of his family, but couldn't. Good call, Maulfan, and nice job Hot Toys.
I for one could not have expected better. Good enough never is, but I think this one actually is good enough for me.
I am not digging it even less then in the preview pic. I think HT has a ways to go on female figs

Looks great to me and that's all I need to make the PO. Yes hair color seems to be off or could be lighting but I truley believe that HT will correct or modify it when it comes out. I also like that this is under the "2nd Quarter" release like the T-800, so hopefully they'll come out the same time. Also, description states "changeable bangs" but no pics of alter bangs?? We'll 2 down and 3 to go and hopefully they will go right into the T1 line
