Although I would buy a Pescadero version with that denim jacket if they made it. I just assume thats very unlikely.

If you'd really like that, talk to pjam, he put together a custom of that with Sideshow's and it turned out really nice.

I think after how lousy Sarah sold for Sideshow we're pretty lucky to get just the one. I'm happy with that but like you say, i'd love more versions too.

I would have thought HT would have viewed making Sarah in the T2 line as a risk after Two-Face doing poorly for TDK, so I too am excited to see her, partly to see an HT made Sarah, but also because if they'd make her, it opens possibilites for the line, like multiple T-1000s or a DX T-1000, just in some way getting a thorough T-1000 offering to cover most, if not all looks and tools from the film. Before Sarah, I was nervous HT T-1000 might be an update of Sideshow's figure and nothing more, but with them making Sarah, i think anything goes, except young John :monkey2

The only problem I have with a T-1000 DX is that likely it'd be two possible figures in the box, but one body, hopefully Hot Toys would release more blank TTs. I really don't get why they limit them, it's not like a True Type is a collectors item by itself where edition size matters, people love the body and it's popular for customs, they should just keep issuing them, even if they don't offer ones like the Wolverine style, I can't imagine it's too taxing to produce the 3 basic TT bodies in mass numbers.

Problem runs into sellability. Retailers are all but stuck with the regular TrueType38s they bought since TT released the Slim and Narrow Shouldered TTs. Now the Narrow Shouldered will likely be just as hard to move when the modular muscle body is eventually released.

There's got to be something in between. Seems like a lot of people are trying to track down Narrows right now. Just don't offer alternates until you've sold off most of the others. They put out new releases of the old TT along with the Narrow and Slim, which was a little silly since people had been wanting the Narrow one in lieu of the old TT so of course the regular would be left on shelves.

Yes, but while one retailer holds the newer versions to sell out the older ones, retailers all over HK are releasing the new ones anyway which still cuts into business so that's not the wisest of tactics either. Honestly, if I was a retailer and I knew another retailer was holding onto theirs, I'd list mine just to get people to come to my site over theirs. Best course is just to offer them as they come and hopefully there'll be a drought that forces people to pick up the older models if/when the newer ones dry up.

I don't know what the answer is, I just often find a need for these bodies and they're either nowhere to be found or rediculously overpriced on eBay. Guess next time I'll just buy up a whole bunch and sit on them.

Save the sitting on them part :)p), that's pretty much what I do.

Well the problem I run into, like the latest wave, was when they were up on sites like Sideshow, I bought the ones I needed for the figures I needed them for, but now I've received other figures and forsee other figures where they could be handy and now they're sold up through retail.

Just wait it out for Hot Toys to sell through the last batch.Once they do they'll release another batch. At least when you do that you get the added bonus of a different head sculpt, not that that really makes a difference.

She's up, no long hair though, but she at least has the shotgun.

Authentic likeness of Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor
Newly developed muscular rubber arm
Detailed hair sculpture with interchangeable bangs
Stands approximately 11 inches (28 cm) tall
28 points of articulation
Two sets of interchangeable hands
Two extra right hands
Enhanced tactical load bearing vest with four magazine pouches
Tank top
Pants with tactical belt and pouches
Combat Boots
Cap

Someone'll be happy, she has a cigarette hand, lame though, include that but not a hair down sculpt.

Mill Remington Shotgun is useless without the Long Hair...
