I knew the sculpt would look better in the secret base photos, but I'm surprised to see the glasses look a little better too.
We'll be able to actually display these two side by side without it looking weird!View attachment 758352

At least now with these two figures having been developed at the same time they will look like the same guy, there'll be more consistency between them - for those of us who may have been bothered by the fact that DX10 and DX13 looked very different from eachother with entirely differently shaped heads and so on.
Is it me or HT is constantly in difficulty with their 2.0 figures?
I mean like Batman 89, the sculpt is weaker on the new one…![]()
I don’t get why they added the seam line to the Endo arm there. It looks like it’s not even a joint for the arm to articulate to justify it. The seamless look they showed off at the conventions looked so much cleaner.
Agreed. My initial disappointment has turned into excitement by now.Yeah those Secret Base pics look miiiiiles better.
You’re right, maybe it’s just the endo-armDo you know of any HT muscle bodies with ball jointed shoulders and double jointed elbows? I'm not very well-versed in HT bodies anymore.
Some of the poses do suggest double-jointed elbows to me, other than the Endo arm of course.
But doesn't that effectively kill head articulation?Still convinced it would look so much better with the head and neck as one piece.![]()
IIRC, NECA released a John Conner figure so Eddie Furlong had granted his likeness before and I think he’s attended some panels at cons before.I'd be very surprised if Edward Furlong granted rights to his likeness. I've nothing to base this on but the lack of young John figures with it and his attitude about being a failed child star.
I feel like he just took his ball and went home.
I have that con exclusive John/bike set from when I used to collect 1/12.IIRC, NECA released a John Conner figure so Eddie Furlong had granted his likeness before and I think he’s attended some panels at cons before.
