Why couldn't HT make a 100% perfect figure, then i wouldn't hesitated one bit. :/

It's the George Lucas principle. He can't ever give us a totally perfect version of the Star Wars movies. If he adds CG to this part, he has to take out something that was better before like Han shooting Greedo in cold blood. That way he can re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release the Star Wars movies for people to buy, and luck dumbasses, we do. I have at least 5 version of the original trilogy from original VHS to latest DVD (Blu-Ray not available until after the 3-D version probably), but I only watch one version.

Looking at the photos, the alternate bangs don't look so great, but I really feel like the full bangs are hurting the sculpt. I still think Trev's is the better likeness, but I think HT's portrait would look better than it does with those full bangs if they did them similar to what Trev did, the way they cover the forehead, where they're supposed to be lighter, thinner strands, just throws things off.

Yeah, no wonder they kept them hidden for so long.

I had no doubt they would make him.

Now to see if he uses the Hobbit body or a all new one.

T-800 Arnold (clean)

"Little" John Connor
T-800 Arnold (Battle Damage)

And of course the new version T-800 Endoskeleton


That would be 6 total figures. That's quite a large line for HT.

Would be kinda neat if HT did a silver true type for the T1000's body and a extra silver smooth head and silver hands.

Yup, looking perfect. Then they can move on to T1.

Not sure on both Arnolds -- maybe both jackets included in some DX type deal.

I don't see a Sarah Connor here (pink sweatshirt and stone-washed jeans), but then again I didn't see a John Connor so who the hell knows.

.....I wonder where that great child actor is today? He'd be 20 or so now.

Personally I think ginger mullet kid deserves recognition as a Hot Toys figure.

Until they actually show a John Connor figure, I'm not counting on anything.

As far as the notion of a T1 Endo. I don't see it happening, my guess is 1 new Endo if any, maybe with T1, maybe T2, but to really get away with it, it has to be somewhat different from the original. The T-700 already covered the textured variation, they did the BD T-800 Endo already with the first one, though super limited. Right now, all they could really do to make a new Endo off the same molds that wouldn't devalue the first would be a super chrome finish instead of the matte gray paint like the original had. If they redo the Endo with an all new design, they could do a matte one for T2 and chrome for T1 or something like that to have 2 variants and sell more, but that'd be pretty lame. At least with all the T-600s there was enough of a difference between each one to not be totally milking things.

Blue-tint Endo for T1
Chrome Endo for T2

But I agree, its more likely an Endo will be a single release to cover all the film Endos.

But in all seriousness, two things scare me about that. The first is that he'll make damn good custom fodder. The second is how you knew about it.
