Well I know I posted on their Facebook page about the shirt, and I think others did too, plus, unlike a head, it's really not complicated to add an extra shirt, they might have figured people wouldn't care and when they saw they did threw it in. It probably cost nothing to do, plus it was just a matter of using black fabric for the same pattern as the gray. A second head is something else. Plus, people aren't as into the Sarah so they're not going to push for as much accurracy or whatever on her. People are far more psyched for T-800 and T-1000, Sarah only really caters to the very die hard T2 fan, or people looking to get her for parts and those people won't care about what she doesn't come with.

so, is she already shipping in asia like the t-800 ?

Not as far as I'm aware. I think she was anouced a few weeks after the T 800 so we can expect her in a month or so. This talk was brought about with the anouncement of Black Widow and whether Sarah Connor should have rooted long hair or not.

Damn MF got to me before hand.

Thanks for the reply guys. As for the rooted hair conversation, I like sculpted hair, rooted hair tends to get messy :S , but that depends, for figures like ScarJo BW which has long hair there is no other choice.

I'm not so much pro rooted hair as just wishing this Sarah had her hair down like the majority of her screen time in this costume, the Widow hair is just an option that could have got the job done.

I can't wait for the in hand pictures. T2 is my favorite movie and Sarah is one of my favorite character, so I will buy her for sure. I can't miss her from my Terminator collection!

Yeah, she kicks a$$. I just hope HT can pump out a young John Connor and a t1000, then I can die happy.

I wonder if they also have access to the Hobbit body.

They should, they're borrowing the license, they helped Sideshow develop it. When the hobbit body came out, I immediately thought, maybe Sideshow will go back and sort of finish up T2 with a John Connor and they didn't, now my hopes HT could use the design, or has use for their own teen sized body, either way, I just want to see young John finally made.

It seems like the perfect height, doesn't it? :lol

Should do fine I'd think. I don't have my Hobbits anymore so I can't compare when I get my T-800, but the Hobbits looked more like young humans in there height relative to other figures.

Yeah, a Hobbit body would probably be about right for a young John Connor. They are about 8" or 9" tall.

Maybe we can pay somebody to do a rooted hair mod for us?

While I can understand (though I don't agree with) the debate about rubber bodies to hide joints, I will never understand the "rooted hair" favoritism. I've never seen it look remotely realistic in 1:6 and unless you want to spend hours with the barbie brush combing it to look pretty, just not practical. That said, I've seen sculpted hair that looks phenomenal on 1:6 figures and would be the best alternative if they can find a way to incorporate it without losing poseability.

I think HT's walked away from sculpted hair for styles like Sarah's down look, they seem to be moving to rooted for anything of significant length that covers a lot of area, Whiplash is probably as far as they'll go now with sculpted. Might be why they didn't rig some hair down appliance to go over Sarah, didn't want to do her hair that way and rooted means a second head and more work. Just sucks because it just doesn't look right having her in ponytail for any of the core action sequences.

Yeah for me the Sarah Connor figure has become a 'stand-alone', she will have no interaction with any other figures in the T2 line. This is because whilst in that outfit and whilst sporting her hair in a pony tail she had no on-screen interaction with either of the other 2 characters HT are making (T-800 and T-1000) and I have no interest in 'pretending' otherwise. Similarly her shotgun, though appreciated, will just be a stand-by accessory because she didn't have it until the steel mill scenes and Sarah from the steel mill can't be represented by this figure without a hair-down head. Maybe someday I'll learn how to customise with 'real' hair.

I hate elaborate post, too tired from the gym to read all this _____, going to bed.

Sarah Conner is cool, I'll get her.
