Sweet relief! Especially after Nikoniko kindly translating that the T-1000 head is part of this figure and likely to be the only way to get it.

As Maulfan pointed out, HT is making these T2 figures through Sideshow's license. So in a sense I imagine not only do they have to get licensor approval, but Sideshow approval as well. So I doubt Sideshow would have let them release something without letting them distribute a few. So my guess is this (and Gort) will be announced Thursday in the newsletter as a late edition to the SDCC line up.

I want this version even more than the regular Sarah, so believe me I know your mindset. I was starting to panic as well. This probably won't be a walk in the part still, but it beats resorting to ebay for the first one going up!

The fact they aren't individually numbered helps. We can only take a company's word something is truely limited to a given number if they aren't individually numbered. But as that article said, 300 WITHIN JAPAN. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but last I checked, HT (and Toy Hunters) is located in Hong Kong. Thats not Japan. So not only would North America get shafted, so would HT's home crowd.

So 300 for Japan, but it could be several hundered or a few thousand TOTAL.

Me too, but at the same time, if I'm able to snag one, I'd love to have the T-1000 head sooner rather than later. So I can see both sides of this. Hopefully everyone here that wants one, will get one.

As long as I can get one I don't mind at all if this Sarah Connor bizarrely comes with a T-1000 head. If the alternative is that particular head never being made at all I'd rather take it this way. It'll mean space for a different alternate head with an actual T-1000 figure or perhaps allow for an additional costume like the motorcycle outfit.

i'm hoping this is an actual exclusive and not something they'll produce over a thousand of. i worry that the more of them that are out there, the less likely we'll see that T-1000 head repackaged with the actual T-1000 figure.

As has been translated by some of the good folks here, the interchangeable T1000 head is included (according to the Japanese text). _The full Japanese text states that this is the "Final/Decisive Battle - T1000 vs Sarah Connor". _ The figure is the MMS T-1000 (Sarah Connor form edition) and stands 28 cm with 28 pts of articulation. _Tokyo Toy Show 2010 Exclusive, limited to 300 pieces within Japan (plus some details on pre-orders). _Weapon accessories include shotgun with folding stock, pistol and combat knife (w/ sheath). _Accessories include interchangeable/replacement bullet damaged T1000 head, cigarette and 4 replacement _hands. _Th description doesn't appear to be complete as it does not mention the base or the malfunctioning liquid metal boots. _ _ _ _ _

Man, just about MMS119 over again, though you need MMS119 for the sniper rifle, ponytail head if you want it, hat if you want it, and normal boots.

Exactly, even though Sideshow's to get it, it'll probably still be limited through them, something like this will not go up randomly, even if it's a newsletter order, they'll announce it coming in the NL a week before it goes up.

Hopefully, the logic is how to make all 4 T-1000 heads available without having to pack more into one set than they normally do.

To cover T-1000s look, you need the donut head we're seeing, split head from Pescadero, clean officer head and a bike cop head (as I don't think they could make a helmet fit over a head with his hair properly sculpted for not wearing the helmet).
