All new figure based on when the T-1000 disguises as Sarah.

Tentatively a very limited variant release.

They could include any number of accessories or outfits with any number of characters, but sometimes they don't just so they can do variants like this. I think its a good, legit, if not creative, Sarah variant. I think many just wanted a Steel Mill Sarah figure, or at least the down hair head to be included with the regular Sarah, so making that highly requested look a limited con variant is a bit of a slap to the face. Sure its probably not the expression we would have chosen, but it works for the T-1000 version. But I think this figure makes it less likely we'll get a normal Steel Mill Sarah now, which is very disapointing. Unless they include an alternate portait and shotgun with another figure (which is unlikely, but entirely possible based on the STARS Chris coming with a jacket for the BSAA version of Chris) I doubt we'll get it. So we can't even have Sarah vs Sarah-1000 without Sarah having the wrong look. And frankly I don't see many, if any, people being able to get 2 of these to do it.

This was definitely planned, they didn't come up with this because people were asking for a hair down head after the MMS119 reveal, the movie's been out for 20 years, if they didn't know themselves that hair down was a more true representation of her in this movie and that outfit, then they don't deserve to make figures from movies because you don't have to be a genius to make that observation.

It does suck that the head which is best suited to represent Sarah in her combat fatigues will not be as mass available as the body and gear in MMS119 that most would want to put the head with.

Makes one wish they'd also do a Pescadero Escape/Enrique's camp version and, similar to how the Bank Robber Joker came with a headsculpt that was pretty much destined to be used by most collectors on a different figure altogether, they could pack another hair-down head with that. But something tells me 2 Sarah Connors is their limit.

Tentatively a very limited variant release.

As has been translated by some of the good folks here, the interchangeable T1000 head is included (according to the Japanese text). _The full Japanese text states that this is the "Final/Decisive Battle - T1000 vs Sarah Connor". _ The figure is the MMS T-1000 (Sarah Connor form edition) and stands 28 cm with 28 pts of articulation. _Tokyo Toy Show 2010 Exclusive, limited to 300 pieces within Japan (plus some details on pre-orders). _Weapon accessories include shotgun with folding stock, pistol and combat knife (w/ sheath). _Accessories include interchangeable/replacement bullet damaged T1000 head, cigarette and 4 replacement _hands. _Th description doesn't appear to be complete as it does not mention the base or the malfunctioning liquid metal boots. _ _ _ _ _

Soooooooooooooo Hot Toys figured that the Japanese were the biggest T2 fans in the world and justified making them the exact thing the rest of the worlds fans wanted?

WTF am I missing here? :cuckoo:

Great figure makers but not the slighest clue on how to do business.

OK, to avoid panic, I'll share the response to my email from HT.

Hi [Buttmunch],

Thanks for asking!

Sideshow will be distributing these collectible figures in the US. Please stay tuned for their update.

Regards,

Emily

:lol Yeah I know. That's why I decided to post it. Figured there can't be too much harm in stopping a riot. Still no info on it, but at least we know Sideshow will have our back, as predicted.

Its limited to 300 ................ the article clearly states that they will be releasing a total of 300 at the Tokyo show. According to my math that leaves 0.

Even Eric and Toys2 told me he doesn't think he'll get any.

That leaves room for there to be more. International Patient Zero PF anyone? A minor change to a base (Silly Things Gunmetal Iron Man?) and it magically opens up the edition.

And Toys2 isn't Sideshow :wink1:
