This is a superb figure and imo a must have for if you have the t 800.

I disagree. I've been looking over this figure from so many pictures and the skin tone and the cheapness of the hair sculpt just isn't working for me. I've tried to see the good in it but it's not screaming MUST HAVE!

It just looks cheap for some reason apart from the gear. Everything is too smooth. Plus I'm not seeing much of Linda Hamilton in it. Linda was so hard looking in the film. Not so hard scary but hard she can beat me up any time she wants. :D

This figure makes her look quite innocent like a very young lady. The hair mainly puts me off plus those goggles. I can't help think of those flying clowns in Highlander 2 seeing those.

the eagle has landed....................repeat.............the eagle has landed...................:yess:

The regular version will be a hard sell for whoever doesn't have one by now. For the same price you can have the T1000/Sarah with the extra head.

We should start a random pic thread.... or is there already one?

Anyone else have the feeling that the T-1000/Sarah will ruin any resale value of this piece? Not that I ever buy to sell but it's always nice to see a HT figure suddenly going for $300 when a few months prior you bought it for $150, if you know what I mean. The Mark 1 for example.... Hastings had it forever. A couple months ago freaks were buying it for $120 on sale through them. Now it's going for $250-$300 on the bay!

I don't think so. Of the two, the T-1000 Sarah will be the more desirable yes, but the regular Sarah is different enough and solid enough to maintain price.

It was pretty easy to predict that Sarah would be the least most valueable of the series so far. Again, T-800 worked as a stand-alone piece; Sarah really didn't so much. Now throw in another "exclusive" Sarah and it really kills all chances the first sarah will have a being a hot figure. I mean, here's the breakdown:

If you loved T2, you bought a T-800.
If you loved the T-800, you probably bought a Sarah.
If you loved T2, you may not have bought a Sarah alone.
If you loved T2, you'll buy the "exclusive" Sarah (either for the Sarah or the headsculpt - since you're probably buying the T-1000).

I hate to play the numbers game, but the T-800 will hold a value depending on the rumored second batch (quality and quantity). The Sarah won't. The exclusive Sarah probably will hold a value depending on how many come out. The T-1000 will hold a value equal to the T-800, unless HT makes a ton of them.

I think it'll be the other way around. I think Sarah will hold her value, but the T-800 wont. Once the BD version is released, he'll drop just like Hot Toys first TDK new suit Batman did with everybody dumping their duplicate bashed Cyberdine for the official one.

It's a damn nice figure. Good likeness, lots of weapons from a legandary flick. As you said, should maintain.... might never go for more than $150 though.

I hope there's no second batch.... that would suck, IMO.

There are many waitlists for the T800 converting this past week. Some retailers are getting these in stock again including toys2.net

I think Sideshow is keeping a close look at the T1000/Sarah. I would not be surprised if they killed the preorder in a few weeks (or less). Also, if you try to cancel it my account says "call to cancel". Could be a close way to keep track of the amount ordered.

They do that every time I order more than one figure. Did you order more than one? :lol

Tyler, is the arm articulation similar to the T-800 where it is limited to a 90 degree flexion of the elbow?

The arms are limited to a 90 degree movement at the elbow as you asked. You can't rotate the arms left or right enough to maximise use of the shot gun and riffle either. It is a little anoying, but I wouldn't leave rubber arms bent out of the relaxed state for to long anyway. Just incase the rubber starts to tear.

Yes I did. I got the one with toys2.net and the 2 with Sideshow.

Got the real Sarah/Fake Sarah display in mind for my one curio plus the stand alone one for my "hero" detolf.
