This is starting to confuse me, i thought Marcus was not a T-800 and had a slightly different looking head then the T-800 but, this pic Hot Toys released looks like he is a T-800.

you can find bootleg copies of rogue here in asia, but i'm holding off for a better version. never seen sam in anything. but if cameron thinks he's good enough to be cast as the lead in his own film, then who am i to argue. the guy can make even the worst actor look cool on screen.

Christ, you can spot a Titanic fan a mile off...:monkey3

The pistons in his jaw look a bit different to me.

He has a T-700 build if i'm not mistaken and the T-700 looks almost identical to the T-800.

Not 100% sure though.

Does someone have the HT T-800 on hand that they can pose this way and snap a pic?

Well, you would think he would look different since he has a human brain in there maybe, i liked the concept art of him with no flesh and i think the battle damage figure of him that is out now by Playmates is a different model from the T-700 or T-800, i think.(saw them today in hand and they look like garbage)

I thumbed through the behind the scenes material of the Terminator Salvation art book at B&N the other day, and
apparently the Marcus endo in the film will look more or less just like the preproduction art that everyone has seen, the one with the 4 different endoskeletons. More slender and average sized than the T-800, and they also showed how it would look much more like a human skeleton with the musculature attached.

Thats awesome, good to know they did not cheap out on doing this then, i am sure the reason he is different plays a role in the timeline and whatever.

I thought it was made clear that the Marcus model was different compared to the other T-machines?

I find all these 'half-man,half-machine' images so fascinating...it is the core image to me,evoking the best of Cameron's vision...even when I see it in comics, games, and this figure...it really is so cool.

Yes, i can see the difference now, though do we really know if the Hot Toys damage is canon to the movie as we have all seen him with both eyes still intact, looks like in his design they took the square like indents on the back sides of the T-800 and moved them more to the front side on Marcus's model Terminator, you can see more pistons in his jaw area as well but, something tells me Hot Toys might have got something wrong on this compared to the one we will see on screen..they do that sometimes, even their Endo is missing lots of fine details on the skull.

Here is a shot of the movie accurate Sideshow 1:1 skull ..................

Looks like the Marcus Endo has way way more intricate detailing then the previous Terminators and i can see Hot Toys took that into account with their latest pic but, the way they replicated it makes it look like scratches and damage on the skull..in that teaser pic anyway.

Something that bothers me a little about those pics from the movie is the lack of blood from torn flesh like we had seen in the other Terminator movies, i guess it has to do with the PG-13 rating.

So are we getting two different Marcus figures or is it going to be a Superman Returns 2-1 type of pack?

From the teaser pics we have Marcus in:
