Well I'm sure glad I posted this thread/asked this question I really wanted a collector's/insider's opinion and this outlet was the perfect thing, wish I'd thought about it sooner. It seems to me some of you guys have an history or something, hope it's all in good form/humor.
Thanks Freaks for the enlightenment (and the entertainment!)
I'm gonna try to cop that HT T2 Sarah Connor and combine it with a T800 pretty soon, and hopefully John Connor(not sure which version though) and an Endo(same dilemma) from Salvation later on

For John Connor, though the gun "technically" isn't accurate, the first version is the more iconic.

Yeah the gun that comes with the Final Battle Connor is the gun that should have come with the first version of him.

Nam is saying that, despite this, the first version of John is the figure to get because of the cooler outfit that we more came to identify with T4 John Connor. I would agree, its the better figure of the two.

Gotcha...........

I got a custom Bale headsculpt in a trade with Thrustmaster, its a final battle version with the fresh wounds on the face. These are not my images of it but just to show which one it is:

Thrusty mentioned 2 names associated with it, Erik Sosa and Elvis1976 I'm not sure who did what, someone else might know.

Anyway, having the HT head and this one side-by-side I'd have to say this custom is a much better Bale likeness. The HT one looks like too much of a pretty boy to me now, it lacks the intensity, the nose mole, the veins (scars?) under the eye all of which the custom has.

I only have 2 criticisms of it, in profile it has a bit of a chicken neck and the paint and finish is below the standard of Hot Toys, but not by much - and definitely better than a NECA 12".

A-Dev, nice pick up.

Are we back to be-labouring the V1 vs. V2 debate again?

Both are great figs in their own right...

oh I mis-spoke, this is a "rating" thread:dunno

I can recommend:

T-600 (normal version, haven't had the other versions yet)
T-700 (n*ot the most accurate figure, but I like it a lot)
Sarah Connor
John Connor
I have both and I also like the V1 better (the V2 HS has inaccurate scratches). I got the Gambit TrueType and use that head and hands for the V2 version (= new figure). V1 uses the base and rifle from V2, the Rest is spare parts for it.

Marcus Wright

I also plan to get the T-800 & T-1000, as well as a T-800 Endo.
