The suit on the InArt figure definitely looks better. I'd argue the cowled head is a toss up, maybe even slight edge to HT.

When it comes to unmasked head, InArt looks like it's probably the winner, though I would argue the paint job is somewhat stylized. Even the sculpted hair looks better than HTs, though.
The hot toys cowl looks awful

Feeling like I might keep my HT order and dirty him up like we saw at the end of the movie, so I could have those two very different looks. Or perhaps make a rainsoaked version?

Wow, the Bat Signal is now in Waitlist status. I wonder how many they made. 🧐
could just be FOMO tactics to get people on the waitlist. The time-limited exclusive DOFP Wolverine was on waitlist after the time expired but then came back up for PO a week or two later without the time-limit for a little while.

True that.
That seems like a more plausible reason it’s waitlisted. Maybe they wanna bait people away from the InArt release?

There is no way it's actually on Waitlist. Nothing goes up on waitlist until after it's been released and sat in stock for at least a month anymore.

Haven't been back on this thread in a while. With InArt Batman winning me over I didn't care much about this now. But I'll be honest I'll get this figure still, I never minded having two different figures based on the same character similar to if I got the S.H Figuarts Batman and then got the Mafex version. Both are the same only I know one will look better in terms of aesthetic and the other for fun posing, still aesthetically pleasing also but not as detailed. Same case here though to me this will be the one to pose and have fun with, while InArt's version (though I'll probably still be able to pose it the same if wanted and have the same amount of fun) will be more so my museum piece.

I’m getting Medicom vs Takara vs Hot Toys flashbacks.

Omg, how is 2005 like some forgotten time already. MWC was complaining about $3 gas in this review.

It’s always been weird to me that a Highlander figure got made let alone how bizarre the actual figure is.

Man, I remember having that OG HT Batman Begins figure and then considering if I wanted to "upgrade" to the Takara one.
I always thought the Takara had a near perfect head but it was ruined by the articulation.

Technically my first 1:6 figure was a DC Direct Batman Begins figure which was basically a scam compared to the composite photo they advertised it with. I returned it and didn’t get another 1:6 figure until 2019 😂

Just out of curiosity, as the diorama base for this has a metal railing that comes with it that is on the left or right hand side of the base, was it featured in the movie during the rooftop scene when Batman jumps off the roof, and if not, why did hot toys include it? Is it removable from the base, or is it stuck to it?

It's a stupid miss mash of two scenes. The railing is from the Iceberg lounge and they are removable to some degree but the rooftop part is stuck to it regardless.

You can see in the photo how it comes apart. The railing surely would come off to allow flat as possible shipping.
