Took a closer look at this particular picture and you can indeed make out the scar under his left eye. Doesn't seem to continue across his nose though.

As always great review from Nenny Dee. Love how this came out but still think I'll wait a little longer to get him. Haven't cancelled my order but if I don't have the funds by the time he comes I will cancel.
Probably pick Eric up in February if that happens.

No, the guitar is not the same. You can tell because the Headstock has a round/triangular shape on the bottom and the HT Guitar is all flat. Different headstock.


HOWEVER. I found this picture of BL with a guitar that looks exactly like the HT Guitar, same headstock. But, this one is clearly different from the photo above, which is a scene from the film. Maybe they had more than one guitar.

I'm not saying he uses a Fender Stratocaster in the film, but the Fender is closer in shape to film because of the round/triangular shape on the bottom.

My figure is on the way as we speak. So I've decided I'm gonna order some gun holding hands today for him (unfortunately nothing in my collection of accessories is suitable). I was thinking about going with Barney Ross hands.

However, HT still gave him the wrong guitar.... because when he's "the crow", he uses a Fender Stratocaster, which he got from the pawn shop

The continuity errors in The Crow are due to 2 things:

a) Low budget movies not having time to worry about such things

b) The movies filming being cut short and having to be dramatically re-edited ...including getting back together later and film more scenes.

I mean, the wrist/hand tape on his hands and arms appears out of nowhere and is never referenced. If you've read the comic you understand why its there but in the movie it is very odd that it is just suddenly there.

The guitar will just be another example of this and which version Hot Toys made will just be whatever scene they happened to reference when designing the figure.

Yeah, I can see that. I believe BL started taking guitar lessons when he got the part, so maybe the Ibanez was his personal guitar, maybe his favorite. I know Lee's girlfriend gave his guitar as a gift to Brandon Lee's guitar teacher after he died.

Yeah, the wrist/hand/body tape was as a result of this scene, which is not in the final cut of the film. After he gets his hands and body cut by Funboy, he puts on the black electrical tape.

I always assumed in the movie the guitar he took from Gideon's was his before his character died and it was pawned there with Shelly's ring
