That's what HT should have done...or at least got close to...incredible work!

Looks amazing. Problem is finding a painter and someone to do the hair on top of buying the sculpt.
Fantastic Joker there.
Also, what shade of brown is everyone using for for the Tibetan lamb hair for their Joker?

Yeah that blows the HT sculpt out of the water. Although personally I would still prefer a Ledger sculpt that was a bit more expressive.

I'm going to apologize in advance if the pictures are crappy - they were taken with iPhone X.
Just unboxed the Joker and the Daftoys coat. The Daftoys coat comes like it was just picked up at the cleaners.

It lacks the internal bomb feature that the Hot Toys has, but the lining is virtually identical. Here's the Joker newly unboxed. I'm measuring from the ground up to the bottom of the coat here. Again, this is the Hot Toys coat:

Here are the two coats side by side (Hot Toys on left, Daftoys on right):

At this point, other than the color, they seem to be pretty identical. Next, I put the new Daftoys coat on:

One thing I notice is that the Daftoys coat seems to be more generously cut in the shoulder and chest area. The Hot Toys coat was a little tight coming off, but the Daftoys coat went on in less than a minute. It also seems to be a bit better fitted in the waist area, less "puffy" than the Hot Toys coat. Also, the lapel magnets that are in the Hot Toys coat are not present in the Daftoys. Because the Daftoys suit is so well pressed, I really couldn't see where magnets were needed.
Here are the measurements on the Daftoys coat:

As best as I can tell, the Daftoys coat lays a bit more naturally and seems to be a bit more tailored. I also like the color a bit better. Is that worth the extra $60-$70 cost? You make the call. I've got a 1/4 sculpt out being painted and haired that I've commissioned, so the extra money for the coat was a no-brainer for me. I like it.
I hope you found this helpful.
Cheers Bigwayne, I did find that useful thanks.
The material looks nicer I think on the daftoys coat but it almost looks a little too fitted in the waist on your photo, I?d be interested to see more photos from different angles if you have any? Which coat will you be displaying him with?
Which head are you having painted? I would like to see that once you have it back.
