Yeah, it is overpriced. No argument there.

All these things are.

When I first got the box I was like, "woah, this thing is huge". Then when I got it out of all the boxes (I'm surprised how many layers and wrapping there was), it is essentially just that, two rubber wheels with some plastic and metal. Oh, and lights.

Still glad I got it, though, It could have been $50 or $100 less.

Yeah, though more expensive, I never thought of myself as crazy for spending $500 for the Tumbler. But $300 for the pod I sometimes ask myself "WHY?!" whenever I look at it.

But being a Batman fan I'm just glad I got it, QC problems (the common and manageable ones thankfully), high price and all. I fear that I might have regret it more if I missed owning the pod the second time.

will do, i'll take some pics tomorrow... need some pics for SSC anyway..

Alright, thanks.

Here's mine. Like I said, it's slightly off but I think they're all like that. I don't think mine is worth taking back or trying to get a replacement. The design of the Batpod is weird to begin with.

I agree. My batpod has the same slight wobble. The biggest annoyance for me was the handlebar things, but I think I've got those on pretty well now.

It looks like I have small glue marks on the knee supports. Any ideas on how to remove them? They could be like a clear paint or glossy back paint on them. Not too sure.

i think its the weight of the center, its too heavy for the plastic to keep it firm so there's some give when it sits idle. But when you lift it up, the wheels begin to align and look straight when you hold it off the ground.

I am at that point now where I am going to take a gamble and grind down the two plastic pipes of the Batpod. I don't like that loose fitment of the seat cover and displaying it like something is broken. Pushing that seat cover back down leaves these scratch marks on the pipe and I am going to start grinding it from there. Hopefully I don't screw up and have to buy another one!

With all those DX12 customs going on, I might as well go custom on mine and call it a fitment MOD!

Thanks for sharing.

The alignment seems slightly askew, like mine. Though, you could probably adjust the arm guards/grips/handles. They're adjustable.

Are we sure they're not all that way? I'd imagine the next one you get will be the same if Sideshow sends you another.

Mines the same. I kept mines cause it could be worse.

Mine finally shipped yesterday. Unfortunately the shipping estimate is New Years Eve. I will never understand how I can get a package from Hong Kong in 3 or 4 days yet it always takes 10-14 for something to come from BC to Ontario. WTF?

I will be just glad to finally have the thing.

One thing I don't miss about Canada is the post. I follow a sketch comedy group out of BC called Loading Ready Run and they've talked about how shipping shirts to here in FL takes less than half the time it does to Ontario.

I see this photo and I can't help but wonder why this thing is $250+ ? It is literally two wheels held together by a few fragile plastic bits. Don't get me wrong, I think it's awesome, but jeezus is it overpriced.

oh MY GOD! HEAVY BATTLE DAMAGE !!!

It's pretty ridiculous. It costs more for me to send a package to BC then it does California :cuckoo:

damn after tumbler, my batpod arrived damaged too,one of the handles on the left side broke, have the aligment issue, but not a big deal . but damn customs , they destroyed the box, and that cape holder..any instruction sheets, I didnt have any,..
