I had forgotten about the Mythos Obi-Wan! The similarities between him and TLJ Luke are really striking - both look so cool.

Yeah I still really want that McQuarrie Vader they showed off. Shame that everything apparently hinged on the sale of those McQuarrie statues, which probably didn't do to well.

Im more excited for Mythos Obi than most other figures coming out lol... I'll probably pose this TLJ Luke with Resistance Rey. Depends on shelving. Trying to choose between two detolfs, a besta, or a billy... I want the best of all worlds lol

I have the mcquarrie Starkiller vs Vader statue koto did, it's definitely one of my favorite things I own. I would kill for some mcquarrie concept 1/6 figures. I really love a lot of those designs!

But I fear DJ is right... since those statues sold poorly, we are probably not going to see those 12" concept figures anytime soon.

They have had them in stock forever, so I assume so.

Though, I personally believe it had to do more with the scale than anything else. If they were the same statues in 1/4 I'm pretty sure they would have sold much faster.

Yep, very excited to get this guy and pose him with Resistance Rey. I'd love a little diorama or something of the "Prime Jedi" pond that he tells Rey about the Jedi next to. Would be cool.

Serious questions for you guys. I'd like to have TLJ version of Luke but am hoping to use one or two of the mechanical TFA hands on occasion.

I know it's really an anyone's best-guess scenario, but do you guys think they're using the same body as TFA Luke and that the mechanical hands will be usable on TLJ body? I noticed in the photos the gloves are similar in length to the mechanical hand, but don't see the peg the way you do on the mechanical hand.

It would make sense that they'd use the same body. Perhaps the joint in the mechanical hand is attached to the elbow as opposed to the wrist.

I've got to say again that the sculpt on TLJ Luke screams Hamil.

I've got to say again: that sculpt is incredible.

I'm realizing now that the product image actually shows it incorrectly. I have TFA Luke and it's a bit of a weird/different attachment than what I've come across before. Here's a pic of the arm/body from ToyAnxiety so you can see what I mean.

The hands are what have the little hole that attach on to the forearm. Anyhow, I don't think I'd want to buy a TFA body just to have that forearm attachment plus the hands (they each sell for quite a bit), but one or two hands of the hands wouldn't be that big a deal. Anyhow as I said it really is anybody's guess until the figure drops. Curious if others were thinking of doing the same.

I'm guessing the TLJ body will just have the usual, standard size arm, and you'd have to do a bit of surgery to get the robotic hand on there. Personally I'm really glad he switched to the glove in the new movie as there was something a little too Terminatory about the other hand for my taste.

Yeah, you're probably right. As always I like the options, fun being able to change something minor from the stock figure to have it different than most everyone else's, but I don't care enough about the mechanical arm to do surgery, especially if that would render the gloves unusable.

I was really tempted to buy this one, but after watched the movie and see Luke in Crait I have zero interest in it.

But I can't see HT doing another Luke for the ST, so I think I'm done with Master Luke of EpVII.

All I know is that the Ahch-To dio base that comes with TFA Luke will look amazeballs with TLJ Luke. Especially with his pack on.
