Looks stunning, but no physical room for 1:4th at this time, and no I cannot justify the price that this will certainly cost.

For those that can, I am jealous:clap

Agreed and I own the 1:1 Sideshow Arnie bust too.

At this scale a statue is so much more appealing. I never liked giant action figures.

Theres never been giant high-end action figures before or if there has been they were only as high end as the times they were in could produce....which is nothing like now.

I never understood this. With a figure you can have multiple different looks and poses. Theres also tons of accessories with most figures and plus you would never see the joints anyway.:dunno

Except for the head/neck join. I personally wish they'd do away with that on future figures and sculpt the head and neck as one. I just don't see any benefit in doing it the way they did it on the EB-800, only the aesthetic drawback. Also in some poses you can see the balljointed wrists on the EB very clearly. Other than those though....

Damn, this is just badass!
This with the 1/4 T1 cyborg Arnie.

I've always enjoyed the Terminator line. Now I'll collect them too.

so in that teaser pic.. does that mean they are also releasing a 1/6h scale.. i damn well hope so.. i hope this means that for every 1/4th version they are also releasing a 1/6th version as well/... bring on REESE ALREADY!! and some damn marines

What the frak is electroplated?

Electroplating is a plating process in which metal ions in a solution are moved by an electric field to coat an electrode. The process uses electrical current to reduce cations of a desired material from a solution and coat a conductive object with a thin layer of the material, such as a metal. Electroplating is primarily used for depositing a layer of material to bestow a desired property (e.g., abrasion and wear resistance, corrosion protection, lubricity, aesthetic qualities, etc.) to a surface that otherwise lacks that property. Electroplating is a useful process. It is widely used in industry for coating metal objects with a thin layer of a different metal. The layer of metal deposited has some desired property, which metal of the object lacks. For example chromium plating is done on many objects such as car parts, bath taps, kitchen gas burners, wheel rims and many others. One of the American physicist Richard Feynman's first projects was to develop technology for electroplating metal onto plastic. Feynman developed the original idea of his friend into a successful invention, allowing his employer (and friend) to keep commercial promises he had made but could not have fulfilled otherwise.
See Captain America's sheild for an example of usage by Hot Toys.

Depending on price, this might be my first 1/4 scaled figure.

This might be my second high quality 1/4 figure after the EB T-800. I said I wouldn't get into 1/4 scale figures, but I lied to myself... :lol

I think I'll end up going for EBs...not sure if I like the idea of having an Endo with no gun....but HTs does have the menace factor.

What makes you think it won't have a gun? The 1/6 version came with guns.
