Weeping boy? The MMS 136 is literally crying tears!

The 136 is great as a Tech Noir, possibly the best. I love that surgery sculpt. When someone turns into a Police Shootout though, it look okay but doesn't hold a candle to this one. Someone posts some pics with the gargoyles on and there's simply no comparison.

Besides, this is what he looked like when we saw him without the shades,

How would you feel a-dev if Hot Toys made a T3 Terminator . . . and knocked the sculpt, everything, out of the park?

Would it be "I ain't even mad"?

Yeah 136 bd hs is clearly not perfect as police shootout but IMHO it looks more badass than the new one (wich im getting two of).
However im sure it will look beter in hands.

My wife just walked by the computer and saw this on the screen. I have never mentioned this figure to her and didn't solicit any kind of opinion.
She said, "man that looks bad", referring to the new sculpt.

Truthfully I would find that incredibly frustrating

Like T2 and T1 were the practice runs for them to get all their mistakes out of the way on, and then they nail the sculpt for such an inferior film? I'd be very mad.

Seeing the neck looks like its gonna be tough putting the HS on a MM117 or MMS136 body.
I really dont dig the latest arnolds bulkiness or lack of thereof.

It is lens distortion, not to mention it's blown up to the extreme. I'm on my phone and it's still way bigger than it is in hand. The white background and flash wiped out all of the sculpting features.

Certainly one of the better shots. The lighting brings out the likeness more. And the endo-eye is hidden, which, seems to be for the best because damn......

Also, I can never look at my DX 10 the same way again. It looks like trash compared to DX 13 and this MMS 238. You guys want to talk about baby heads?

I do like the first picture. The in hand shot looks like a pouty kid. I'm trying to like this. I have 6 on order. I have 48 1/6 Terminators spanning T1 to TSCC. I wanted this to be the cherry on top. I'll be the first to say, "Hey this is 1/6 scale. It won't be perfect." But this isn't HTs first attempt at Terminator.

And while I won't play the "well if you think you can sculpt a better head, do it yourself" card, I will say this. I better not see this in the collections of the folks that are ripping on this release and think their custom kit bashes are better. Like P. For instance. If he waltzes on in with any element of this guy like the "fat, soft baby head" or the "inaccurate body", imma call him out. I've already compiled a list so I know who you are. I will find you.

If you think your 136 kit bash is the shiznits, great, no need for this fella. Get a few non-body, heads parts from online break downs, that's cool, but anything that's been criticized? No bueno.

I'd laugh a bit but my longstanding response would be one of annoyance. But hey, I don't think we're gonna have to cross that bridge anyway. There's just too many superheroes that need making to even think of touching T3 or probably even T5.

Check out all of (blank) Po's pics. They look great. The lighting he uses brings out those facial features that have been hiding in other photo sets.
