T2 is my favorite film of all time and I think the T800 looked his best in T2, but the way he wore the jacket in T1 and the look he had in the first film was very iconic and cool. T3 was by far the worst costume, imo. The sunglasses were too small and the jacket without the lapels looked weird, imo.

It seems that in Terminator 5/genesis he went back to a technoir style jacket...which makes me wonder if he's going to wear the "signature costume" at some point.

He is wearing a black/grey shirt at some point...maybe he'll wear the jacket and sunglasses too?

What's really interesting is that Kyle Reese is dressed like he was in the first film, and Sarah looks like she's wearing the T2 military costume, so maybe the timeline or time travel is all over the place in this film, and if so, maybe we'll see the technoir or the police shootout t-800 again. So more HT figures and 2.0's? :gah:

I'm sorry but everytime I hear or see things relating to this new Terminator film it gives me nothing but the feeling of gloom and doom. This films premise spells disaster to me so far. How are we to accept old characters from old time lines like Kyle and Sarah but having different actors playing the parts? Plus an old Terminator? Nope not good. I seriously hope I'm wrong. I would love to be pleasantly surprised and say they proved me wrong.

Who will be the first to paint the gloved hands with flesh color in the appropriate areas?

lol, I actually just bought 1 and 2 a few days ago and watched them with my son. Mind you I haven't seen both since shortly after they were released.. on dare i say it vhs!! and I always remember being in awe of this scene. So I waited for my sons reaction so he could experience it like me, and all i got was " fuuu aaaake" lol, fml i feel so old! lol. that and the surgery scene. He was amazed how movies back in the day didnt look they way they do now. Also having seen them back to back its amazing how movie magic jumped leaps and bounds in technology between the two.

Thank you pjam. Much appreciated :duff

As I said before, I really enjoyed putting this one together. Terminator is one of my favourite things to photograph.

My pleasure!

Hey para, in your vid there is an image (particularly monstrous one) around the 1 min - 1:05 mark -- don't know if it was posted as a photo or was part of a vid recording, but could you repost that image please?

Thanks.. I think it's my fave.

I think the stop motion in T1 adds to the machine like movements that machines in CGI films don't have nowadays.

Ps if that were my son he'd get a box in the jaw for his disrespect of classic films.
