Mine arrived earlier and I love it. But does anyone's partially damaged headsculpt have smudges on where his eyebrows would be? Of all the pictures posted in here, I haven't seen any with this problem. It may not look like much in photos, but it's like this black residue.

It was very difficult for it to show up on camera, so with and without flash. I'm considering asking SSC for a replacement.

Looks like it might just be shadow effect, not sure to be honest, here's a shot of mine to compare with if that helps.

Well it's not from his forehead shape. I know the other Arnies may have a little darker spots there to maybe the skin pop out more. But this looks like a defect. It almost looks like someone took a brush with black paint and just poked a straight line on the left side of the forehead and over did it. I contacted SSC, hopefully they can give me a replacement next week. Like I said, it looks worse than it does the pics.

Good luck Snake, hope they replace it quickly, while you wait I suggest you swap over to the full BD head, you might find that to be your favorite look Like I did. Its my favorite Terminator head sculpt to date, looks incredible I think:thud:

I do plan on getting an entire second figure for the BD look, but that won't be for another month, so I wanted to have the PS version on display for now. Anyway, I'm entitled to replacement. I just hope they approve it and ship it Monday, since I could receive it in the same week.

I need to buy about 6 true type stands, since the DX13 bases take up way too much room and I can't fit the 8 Terminators plus the Endo all on the one shelf. I may get EVILFACE decals for those, since I'm not getting hosed on eBay prices for the legit stands.

But back to MMS238. I do like it a lot, I think the glasses really sell it. I'm just dissappointed with the body, not bulky and hefty enough for it. Tech Noir feels like a brick and has the correct proportions. I also get my second Tech Noir Monday :)

What do you do with all the heads and hands etc?

I got this for the PS look but the "get out" look really grew on me. Most of the time he appears like this on screen is spent either under or in the tanker (so I didn't really see the sense for this look as a figure), but it does look wicked on display. This is still mostly about the PS look for me but I'm definitely diggin' the option to switch it up

I'm going to use the extra regular police head to upgrade my clean police shootout that's currently on a TTM20, the other tanker head will just sit in the box.

I'm waiting for some points to clear and then I'll get one for $100 off.

Nice, I got about 90 bucks in rewards, I think I will let them build up for now, Nothing else I want this year.

So I went ahead and tried to even out the curve of the hips that's a result of the too-tiny waist.

Here's the difference BEFORE (left) and AFTER (right):

Before-After Hip Stuff (2).jpg

You can see the sort of unnatural curve of the tiny waist. Makes the T-800 look a bit feminine. I tried to make the hips more of a straight line down the thigh.

That is a great simple but effective mod. I agree with your assessment the hip area look wrong. I am going to fix the scrawny neck syndrome as well on mine. Those were the only two glaring problems with this figure. I may attempt to do what Surfer did and remove some of the 'jam' blood on the endo parts as well and add a chrome/silver dry-brushing. Great pictures people!! Keep 'em coming.

I call that an improvement. So what did you pad it with? Can the pants still be closed without a problem? Looks like it....

That is a huge difference. Did you use foam to pad it out?

Thank you much, gentlemen. Glad it gets approval. I do believe it is a good mod. And simple.

The pants have no problem closing properly post mod. I just folded two small pieces of paper towel into a kind of thin wedge to widen the hip-line, tapering down to where the thigh curves. Maybe an inch or so in length. It doesn't take much. If you want to have the jacket-closed look like above, then you need to push the "wedge" down so it doesn't push the jacket out as well or the effect is lost due to the thickness of the jacket+belt. Its very simple though. Also I didn't pad the front or the bubble-butt -- just the side hip area. Again, it doesn't take much.

Cool! Definitely going to try this on mine.
