Thank you much, gentlemen. Glad it gets approval. I do believe it is a good mod. And simple.

The pants have no problem closing properly post mod. I just folded two small pieces of paper towel into a kind of thin wedge to widen the hip-line, tapering down to where the thigh curves. Maybe an inch or so in length. It doesn't take much. If you want to have the jacket-closed look like above, then you need to push the "wedge" down so it doesn't push the jacket out as well or the effect is lost due to the thickness of the jacket+belt. Its very simple though. Also I didn't pad the front or the bubble-butt -- just the side hip area. Again, it doesn't take much.

Thanks, definitely going to try it on mine.

I'm getting mine at the end of the month. I agree, the BD head looks great but the clothes don't match the head. Has anyone roughed up the clothes yet? I think this is the only way to go; scuff up that jacket and those shoes and dirty up the shirt and pants.

Looks much better Wor-Gar, really effective. The waist thigh area is prob my biggest issue with this.

By the way if anyone really wants to make the bs head shine (literally) I added a physical piece of metal foil to the patch. Couldn't get a paint that was silver enough on such a small area. When it looks properly "chromed" it really pops on display.

Man, after reading and reading and reading and noticing that the bd leg of my ex T2 bd T800 was slightly bigger than the non Bd leg and seeing all the little things that are 'wrong' with the figures I like, I put this hobby on hold. I'm am way to much OCD for a 200+ euro figure to have flaws. I got the Dredd figure and love it to bits and it cost me less than any Hot Toys. The other pre-orders I cancelled. I was looking at the elder predator and was wondering how they could screw up the plasma caster platform so bad. Not acceptable. If I had money to burn I would still buy Hot Toys as much as I can though. But since I don't I will look slightly jealous at yours. I got to many other money costing hobby's. Back to the occasionaly cheaper Neca figures it is. I can live with flaws on those.

I totally agree. He was pretty cut up in that scene. I know MikeEcko did it with a second set of clothing and it looked great. I will probably do the same as im planning on posing him with the damaged headsculpt.

As regards the waist/pelvis feminine issue you can see how it only became apparent on this figure. Looking at it the MMS136 has the same problem and yet because the pants were a baggier fit all it took was folds or the pockets sticking out a bit to make it look normal. Also the big long Tech Noir jacket obscured the area. The T2s would have the issue except the T-shirt tucks into the pants with that outfit.

So I went ahead and tried to even out the curve of the hips that's a result of the too-tiny waist.

Here's the difference BEFORE (left) and AFTER (right):

You can see the sort of unnatural curve of the tiny waist. Makes the T-800 look a bit feminine. I tried to make the hips more of a straight line down the thigh.

Looks great. I have plenty of that black foam that's used for figure forms lying around, so I'll try that out to pad the neck & hips
