Right. Remember those stages of the Hot Toys preview to ownership life cycle?

1) Promo/pre-order pics come out, and everyone freaks at how awesome it is, and how glad they are that it will be made
2) Folks start nit-picking flaws, and several develop a view that the figure actually sucks
3) Much debate ensues for months leading to release
4) First production pics come out of unfutzed figure in terrible lighting, everyone freaks out, threatens to cancel, etc.
5) More in-hand pics are released; feelings are mixed
6) Arrives at owner's house, most are pleased
7) Time passes, dissatisfaction over dated product grows, customs are created, demands for revisiting figure is made, etc.
8) Wash, rinse, repeat

That's why I check out of threads during Pt3... no new information, just a lot of rattling around and back and forth with no actual new information to share. The only chance we might get some kind of new information is if we see an updated proto at SDCC, but even then it's hard to tell if it's actually new or just different lighting

So with that being said I'll see you guys in July... or maybe December when I check in to see how far into 2015 this figure's been delayed

I hope HT weather the boots on this guy, the DX13 boots were too clean looking for a battle damaged look.

They look too clean in the proto pics.

That's why I check out of threads during Pt3... no new information, just a lot of rattling around and back and forth with no actual new information to share. This figure is going to to kick so much a$$. Problem is I don't know if I want two or one. One clean "I'll be back" the other BD truck chase but boots and pants aren't damaged. Don't remember if they're were like that on the movie. Anyone got pics they can post?

there were almost no more boots and pants there, due to two crashes, both with great amount of asphalt rubbing. boots were smashed, especially left one, their belts torn off, pants heavily torn, taken out of right boot and hanging freely.

Thanks P. for the pictures. Hmm a lilttle disappointed its not fully BD, but if it was than again we wouldn't have a cool PS figure. Would be cool if they added damaged boots just like in the pictures you provided.

They added an entire second costume for the T-1000, they'd only really need a torn up second pair of pants and boots for this figure. Oh well, it's still awesome as is.

I think they only do that with figures that don't really pre sale well and have a small run.

This is by far one of my most wanted figures, too bad I can only afford one. I'm going with the "I'll be back" look, he looks so badass he doesn't even need his weapons. This is going right next to the DX13.

The MMS01 had the best boots. They had more detail.



It looks like the new T800 is reusing the Tech Noir boots, unfortunately.
