i managed to break some parts on Harley, including (!) metal, and this one is almost purely plastic.

Hmmm. Like you I'm no bike expert but I read differently somewhere else that the fatboy is definitely a more powerful bike than that particular T1 Honda. Regardless though, if you want to consider this another win for T1 you still can. It would be in line with the usual attack on T2 for being too self-consciously 'cool' or something.

the info about tech specs was unexpected for me though. i thought they would be similar.
can't wait to put both bikes side by side. with figures on them. i'll have my own biker gang )

Harley is 20 cm longer.
Honda's seat is 14 cm higher, i guess it's due to bigger wheels. at least they are significantly bigger in tamiya variant.
so their sizes are basically congruent.
i guess the only reasons honda looked small were the overall more magnificient harley design (majestic american design versus sports japanese) and the fact that Arnie was actually quite bigger those days.
