Its a hard head to shoot.
to me this is a really cool figure but HT has a long, long long way to go in producing female characters.
it's more cool than sexy right now. they are going to have to work out body issues first. unlike many I think the current HT female body just sucks. regardless this one does not look like Akermans body her boobs are huge which does not help with the bulkyness issues of the costume.

I agree, HT has a long way to go in producing female figs.
Just one shot out of many countless shots....
I find it hard to take a beautiful shot of the head...or maybe I'm just a lousy photographer.
Now that is a cool photo. I really like the coat that comes with this figure. Where are your countless others then...?

I agree, I really hope they fix their female figure issues by the time Black Widow is ready to roll out.
The body could be better, they need to make a body like Wolverine's but for women. I think their female headsculpts is what lacking as well, definately in comparison to the males. They haven't mastered making the females looking soft and feminine. Which is another thing I hope they fix before Black Widow.

I have the silk Spectre, Silken Floss, the generic blonde figure and the POTC Keira Knightly....what the hell is wrong with them? I think they are great reproductions and a hell of an advance of what we've had before and on what the opposition are doing. The triad figures (of which I have a few) are not a patch. Hot Toys are driving this industry and will no doubt improve some more, but hell let's give 'em credit where credit is due.....I remember my S/S rooted hair Buffy!!!!!!!!

Agreed, the head sculpts need to look soft & feminine. So far I find all the female figures that they have released to look a little too manly.
I think the Specte head is amazing in person to be honest. I have no issues with the head at all... photos weird but in person she does not look mannish.
body is just weird. its stumpy. her outfit eliminates exposed skin so thats not the problem but overall its just weak.
you know yellow spandex and black PVC would have made a hell of a lot more sense. easier poseability and less bulkyness. especially in the crotch area. She needs to ditch the depends... she looks the worst from behind. yuck.

The ScarJo sculpt was pretty soft and feminine... but it is lacking some of the fine detail other sculpts have because of it.

i love this figure! that said. she does need her eyes redone. and thats why shes being sent off to be perfected
