Hair length is accurate to Hemsworths in the movie.
I just wish he grew it down to his shoulders like the comic.
But I'll buy to of these figures to mod mine to my preference.

if u watch some of the extra stuff on the IM2 blu ray/DVD it sort of hints that the Avengers iniative is being set up to stop the trouble happening in New Mexico......The Hulk.
Id assume Loki or some other major villain will be the main antagonist in the Avengers film....Hulk would just be a minor at first perhaps until he gets sorted out :p

The New Mexico thing is Thor, not Hulk.

The whole New Mexico angle that was set up in IM2 was that was where Thor's hammer was found and needed to be dealt with which was also why the "Land of Enchantment" references were made not because of the Hulk.

I'm glad they didn't do rooted hair for Thor, that would pretty much ensure I'd pass on it. I just don't care for the way rooted hair looks.

Me neither, it sort of gives the High quality figure a "barbie" vibe. :lol

+1 for leaving the hair, as is:hi5:

Agree :hi5:

This is what I have to say for rooted hair :pfft:

If I have even one barbie in my collection it will be the end of me....my wife would have a field day...every day :horror

First thing she would do is buy me little hair brushes :horror

cant stop laughing about the wife comment, im in the same boat. I really hope i love this movie as im a huge thor fan but i gotta love the movie to purchase this ;)

While I think it makes the figure that much more enjoyable if the movie is well liked, it's not a deal breaker for me.

Because at the end of the day, I love the Marvel characters way before any movies were ever made.

I want a Thor in my collection even if one of the movies he's in wasn't any good.

I agree i love the marvel characters.

Bad movies never affect me buying something neither. If that were the case, I'd be missing out on some really awesome stuff from the SW EU/PT and AvP Pred's, etc. But, Thor was a win in my eyes since I first saw him so its a win-win scenario for this figure:D

:exactly: :goodpost:

I can relate as I'm contemplating picking up the GR figure and I hated the movie and only had some small level of enjoyment out of him when I collected comics. Overall...he's just bad @$$! :horror

Regarding THOR, I hated that guy in the comics! Didn't really care for the Avenger's much in general besides IM, and I always liked Vision and Wasp. I was always an X-men guy...kind of bandits, on the run, going against the law, etc.

So on the flipside of your comment I would say in this case for me, even with my general like of comic heroes, I would definitely put my chips in and buy this figure if the movie rocks. That's probably whats going to sway me in this instance.

As much as I don't care for the character, I will say I think this movie is going to be better than Captain America. I can't wait to see THOR because the previews look :thud:
