So they can release the Season 2 version with special weapon right !

God I hope not. As cool as they are I don't wish to see another Death Trooper variant taking up one of those Mandalorian release spots. Hopefully new troopers are kept to a minimum in season 2 as not to give Hot Toys an easy way out of making the cool characters such as Bo Katan, the Armorer, and Cara Dune. However, that said I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a TIE Fighter Pilot and the return of the RO Tank Trooper. Sorry, going off topic here.

I never even considered that. Definitely my favorite trooper from RO and I’m still a little salty HT never got around to it.

Now you have me hoping we don't see the Armorer's face just so we can get a figure. It's slightly concerning that many of the confirmed or semi-confirmed characters for this second season have headsculpts. This is also why I'm also a bit surprised they didn't give us the DW Mandalorian or the Armorer for season one. Ahsoka is nailed on, but I'm already worried my current most wanted figure for season 2, Katee Sackhoff Bo Katan, will be passed over by Hot Toys.

Not scheduled until Q1 next year.

If my memory serves me correct the Incinerator Trooper and Remnant Trooper were both scheduled for release aftter IG-11 and the Heavy Mando. Much like the aforementioned Incinerator and Remnant Trooper, the Death Trooper is easy to pump out quickly. Personally I would much prefer they put IG-11 out first, I just feel Hot Toys will take the easy option first.

The best trooper design of the Disney era imo. You'd have to think Favreau and Filoni would be very aware of the popularity of those Rogue One designs, hence the introduction of the Death Trooper in season 1. I do actually believe one of, or both of, the Tank Trooper and Shoretrooper have a chance of making into the show at some point. Failing that there's always a chance they could turn up in Cassian.

Btw Hoody made a brilliant custom Tank Trooper. I don't know if you've seen it, but if you haven't I'm sure he'd be kind enough to re-post it.

Proportions are weird, he looks a like robot, but don't get me wrong, it is a great achievement nevertheless. When it comes to Rogue One HT dropped the ball on several occasions, this is one of them.

Well I finally broke down and ordered this guy before he vanished completely. I kept hesitating before since the odd design (with its short torso and long legs) just didn't work for me nearly as well as the one for IG-88, but he was such a memorable and badass character that I realized I would have regretted not having him in the collection anyway.

I'm going to pass, I already bit the bullet with ordering the first Mando from Sideshow, I don't wanna spend the extra money if I'm not 100% on him. Buuuuuuut I like the show so much. Couldn't we get Greef or Cara to make me forget about IG-11?

If we get Greef or Cara, you'll realize that it only makes you need IG-11 more. But I hope we get them both at some point. Cara will be a tough one to pull off as I feel Like Gina Carrano has a very unique look and will be hard to nail a sculpt. A bad sculpt would ruin the figure, as would a body that doesn't match her physical traits. She's a unique lady that would deserve a unique figure.

Well Greef and Cara are continuing onto the next season, that's kind of why I feel OK passing on him. I wouldn't pass on a Kuiil though, he was more memorable even though he's gone.

I just feel like IG-11 is going to be one of those figures that once he sells out completely he’s going to go for high amounts. So I pre-ordered a while back already. It helped that I ordered from Alter Ego with free shipping and $25 off.

Yeah definitely going to be a figure you wont want to miss out on. Can say the same for most figures in 2020 since there seems to be shorter production runs due to COVID and figures are selling out super quick.
