Haha every kid thought Greg Jefferies was the next Mantle. What a rush it was to pull his $10 rookie card out of a pack. I'm still waiting for Todd Van Poppel to fund my retirement

Thanks. I noticed the definite color difference on the 2014 Deluxe. I have that one as well. I have two HT Deluxe shipping next week like everyone else. I may put the Ahsoka helmet on the SS version and match the new two with Rex when it ships.

The helmet fits on the SS 2014 Deluxe but looks a bit awkward because the SS clone is a bit beefier and has a larger helmet. He gets tiny head syndrome when he has the HT helmet on lol

Saved some time from my busy schedule to unbox it and snap a comparison shot with Sideshow v.1 and v.2.

First thought i'd have to ask for a replacement as right elbow only worked as a single joint. Luckily, managed to loosen the defective part after a careful operation. Tricky when joints are hidden under the suit.

Thanks for posting such a great comparison photo of all 3. I was contemplating picking this up as I have the original (clean non Dx that I got for free with SS rewards ) SS version.

While, obviously the HT is a bit nicer (it should be as to how old the original SS figure is) I think the SS versions hold up pretty well. The extra bits are cool, but probably would just sit in the box. After your pic I think it's a pass for me, just like I did with Cody. On the shelf from a distance I don't think it warrants an upgrade or need/want to have a 2nd 501st Trooper. Rather put the funds to something new I don't own.

What I'm really waiting for are regular plain white Clone troopers as I passed on the the SS Dx versions back when. Hope they do the same so I can get 2 to have both a Phase I & II Clone Trooper. And hope they include all the same extras.

Luck of the draw then unless TBA are not selling as many as they expected and are now honoring orders with older stock as well.

I have a second Dx 501st coming from KG Hobby in a week or so. I'll definitely report what name plate it comes with.
