For what it's worth, I wonder if the color head to do with working against blue screen. That sort of cobalt blue from the CGI clones would have been a ***** to use against blue screen; maybe that's why they used a bit of a different tone.

They made R2 green in Mando S2 because of the bluescreen and made it blue in post. They could have done the same here if they wanted.

It’s possible. Some shots were blue screen and some were not, so maybe they wanted a color that would work with both.

Have just one as well. My rationale is, I'm waiting for a 212th reg and then I can have Rex with a 501st flanking him, and Cody can have a 212th flanking HIM. This display makes sense in my mind's eye.

Since we were talking about custom clones a few pages back, just throwing in this parts-check pic, made sure everything was in there today:

...and yes everything's there, this is gonna be so fun. HT can kiss my grass, I am going to build everyone they so far refuse to give us, that I want to see. I will build the rest of Omega squad, bit by bit interspersed with clones like Fordo and ARC Echo.

The only thing here is I think this is not the backpack I need, the seller has one he includes with his Boss kit [I think it was...] I am going to ask him if he will sell me just that pack. If not, oh well. He had four of the armor undersuits and when I went back out to check a few days ago, they were all sold DAMMIT. That's what I get for snoozing...

Aftermarket prices are already getting silly. It's my own damn fault for waiting (I know.) This has got to come back right? Either an Obi Wan release or Andor. They can't walk away from this money...

Prices aren't too insane, running around $300ish +shipping give or take. If you really want one just grab it now before it hits $400; if you don't need the deluxe the regular is cheaper. I highly doubt they'll reissue this one, they seemed to have made TONS of them. So many people have 3-4+.

I think this is it, it was in-stock for 9 or so months. The deluxe was one of the best things HT has done, especially for that price. HT made a pretty penny off these 501st clones.

They'll be milking the other legions and battalions going forward.

Probably not going to come back unfortunately. They had enough trouble offloading the numbers they made towards the end. Figure was around for a few months shy of a year.

They just have too many other Clones to do. They’re not going to dedicate production capacity to something they already made a huge amount of.

Yeah now is not too bad. They did make a ton so prices haven’t skyrocketed yet. But it will eventually. We have not seen silly yet.

Agreed. They’ve got Clone production planned out and tied up for the foreseeable future I imagine.

Honestly I don't think it's as bad as some think it is but I do agree that a 10% size reduction would be an improvement. The all white version HT showed is the same as the 501st right?
