Re: Hot Toys - TMS - Bo-Katan Kryze (The Mandalorian Season 2)
I"m really eager to see if Hot Toys will be generous enough to offer a HS for Bo (and Boba). Both teaser images featuring helmets are worrying. Yet, seeing how both teases are not immediately followed by PO give some hope that Hot Toys are currently working on HS that delay releases.
Wondering where and when prototypes will be revealed as well. Anyone remembers if a con or event takes place soon?
Tonight or tomorrow is the end of Chinese New Year and I think they traditionally have a release and also a new preorder at the end of CNY.
Cool I guess. Cara Dune and Kuiil should have come first. This line will always be woefully incomplete.
Yeah I definitely agree. I love both seasons but
really love the first. Without Greef, Cara, or Kuiil, that'll be a huge empty gap. The fact that we're more likely to get Cobb Vanth than those 3 who was in 1 episode and never interacted with anyone else besides Grogu and Mando sucks.
There really haven?t been many female characters done. Multiple Leia figures, the two Jyn figures, and the three (soon to be four) Rey figures. I think most of the Leia sculpts have been good. Jyn was alright. The Rey sculpts were hit and miss.
There's really only been 2 Leia sculpts, the ANH and then the Hoth one they modified for the other two releases. I think the Bespin one looks the worst, something happened with the mold on that, the eyes are a bit buggy.
How many female bodies does HT have? I already assumed they'll just use the same body as the MCU women but hope we're both wrong.
I literally think it's the one body they use for all the MCU women/Leia/Rey and then Wonder Woman. Oh I forgot the Spider-Gwen/Ahsoka body, I can't tell obviously that they're the same but I think it's possible since they're both slim and from an animated origin. They absolutely need to develop another adult female body.
Did he ever wear that helmet?
I can't see HT doing Mayfield. He is HT-sidelined like Greef, Cara, Frog Lady and The Client.
That said, someone could easily make Transport trooper a Mayfield with a custom head.
Special Note: Mayfield is such a strange un-Star Wars name.
Well his full name is Migs Mayfield, which is a bit more Star Warsy.
I didn't realize until I looked him up a while back, it's MayFELD.

So slightly less earthly feeling, but still agree. I think it's funny how the first movie has Luke, Ben, Leia, and then after that it's off the rails and then hardly anyone has an earth based name again. This is probably a dumb question, but did Lucas invent the name Anakin?
