I mean, it definitely looks like.. whatever they turned the character into in the D/W film. So that's something.

My issue is that I personally think he looked underwhelming and mid in that film. It certainly didn't make me thankful to see Blade again, with his hideous MCU-styled costume, looking old and out of shape.

That's not how I remember the character and certainly not a look I want on my shelf for Blade.

I guess I'm trying to say, figure looks like what we saw in the film. And that's the problem.
Eh? His character in D&W was exactly the same character as he was in the Blade trilogy, he just wasn't the star this time. He also didn't look out of shape, he just looked thinner because Snipes has lost a large amount of muscle in the last few years. He still looked pretty great for his age, and still pulled off the small amount of action he got flawlessly.

Although i agree it's easily his worst costume. Blade needs his sword and his trench coat.

Studios had years to use Snipes Blade. He's too old now for the part, that ship has definitely sailed imo. I genuinely felt second hand embarrassment for him in that cameo.

Well... how would you look trying to ice skate uphill?

I think this looks great, I'm in. I'm also convinced we'll see some more Blade whether it's a 2.0, Comic Master Series or from Hono.
That was my mindset with Indiana Jones with Dial of Destiny, that it would be a celebration of Indy with figures from all his movies but HT disappointed and only gave us old man Indiana.

At this rate Mahershala Ali will be too old by the time the Blade reboot gets sorted out - he’s already 50.

I was surprised to see that there’s only a 12-year difference between Ali and Snipes (62).

Hell I'll gladly take this version of Blade. The one who took on mutants like Azazel, Toad, lady Deathstrike and came out on top. The one who shrugged off getting impaled through the chest. He was a beast in this movie. On top of that the fig looks phenomenal.

Only one Blade baby

The gray streak in his hair and beard really bothers me for some reason. It only brings awareness to how old he is. Hate it.

Out of shape? Lol he looked great and wasn't moving sluggish at all. Not to mention in the BTS footage, Wesley was actually doing a lot of the choreography and looked more fluid than actor's 20 yrs younger. Not to mention they had blade kicking ass with ease.

My audience went wild when he showed up and during his action bits. He got huge fanfare for his return in general so I think you were the only one "embarrassed" lmao. And yes he ages like a human, confirmed by whistler all the way in 1998. Why would grown azz Blade dye his hair to hide his gray. Stark has em, Reed richards has em, strange has em. Blade owns it well

That's all fine and dandy but (for me anyway) nothing I saw in the scenes he was in impressed me.

He looks old. That's a factual statement. He's not in the same shape he was 20 yrs ago and it shows. Another factual statement.

His costume was trash (imo) and shoehorning him in with the rest of those embarrassing cameos was ill advised from my perspective.

Snipes Blade has come and gone for me.

That's not to say I'm upset about his return. I hope he drains every dollar from Disney he can get. If it takes bringing Blade back and setting his character up in the MCU, so be it
More power to him.

But I am not a fan of this, "well, we need a cameo. I know! Snipes works for peanuts now, let's use Blade!!!) tactic they're attempting. If you like it, awesome. I'm happy for you. No hate here.

But this just.. isn't for me. That ain't Blade as I think of him. Figure does look accurate to the film tho, so that's something.

Looks great and all, but not much interest in an "old" Blade. I just look at this and wish this was classic Blade tbh.

The figure is a great representation of the DP&W design, the headsculpt in particular is really great, but I've no interest in old man Blade.

Lol. Completely disagree, he proved 100% that he can easily still pull off the Blade role. It was like 20 years never passed with how flawlessly he slipped back into the character. He's also usually brought up as one of the best parts of the film, and lots of fans were calling for Marvel to ditch the upcoming reboot and just give Snipes a final Blade movie as a proper send-off.

They just need to bring out a 2.0 of Blade 2 with genuine leather, updated sculpt to today’s standards and a bonus would be a tattooed body. Same goes for a blade 1 figure. Hopefully Hot Toys pulls their finger out and does something the fans want. They surprised me with Bond though, I must say
