Thank you Oaty for the recommendation on removing the weathering definitely seems better and easier then taking a Dx19 apart to add your upgrades. Lol seriously though this works better no need to worry about using paint thinner or any kind of chemicals. Is there a specific brand or any of these clothes would do?

Dank farrik! that pic makes me pissed they blew up the Razor Crest all over again.
Seeing how fantastic the Batman and Armory might look next to Mando and his own ships Armory, had they made it as a freestanding prop.

That armory Mando has set up in his razor crest looks interesting. I noticed that Boba probably got the blaster and belt from Mando's armory!

A couple of small details to note for posing and arranging his gear

He tucks the tracking fob into where the bandoleer meets the belt on the right.
And more importantly since it's a new detail, he hangs the Darksaber (no surprise) on the left, right behind those three thermal detonators, and a few cartridges. Pretty far back it's somewhat hard to pick up.
While most will likley display saber in hand, don't know if they had the foresight to add a loop and hook where it goes.

So, is there a place (hook?) to hang the Darksaber hilt? (which apparently comes with a nice loop)
Should be on the left somewhere behind the three thermal bombs and a few cartridges.

I believe it's the hook that holds the detonator.

That one certainly works, yet would be on the wrong side. Hence, curious if there is another that coresponds to where he actually keeps it. If it's there, should likley be on the left towards the back, behind the three thermal detonators.

Can someone post some pics of OG Mando withe the new shiny Headsculpt on it please? I really want to see what the OG Mando looks like with the new sculpt and shoulder pauldron on. I can't make up my mind to buy the new one or just the parts to put on my OG

I’m half-convinced some of the figures released accidentally got a double-serving of dirt and grime, because ManofHotCollectibles copy looks like a perfectly reasonable amount.

Pretty sure this is just light. The detail is blown out by a light source in the white areas and you just can’t see the weathering. The parts where you can see the weathering look just like mine did.

It is a printed on weathering effect so I’d be surprised if there’s a lot of variance.

Another review. Hong Kong YouTubers so its in Cantonese. Weathering doesn't look too bad at first but once they get the camera close up, you can see the heavy weathering.

Huge thank you OT_Customs. I've Googled Cape Cod Cloth and it looks like I shouldn't have any trouble getting my hands on it.
This looks amazing. Love how I'll be able to leave the amount of weathering I want with this process.
I'm not sure I'd have risked using the thinner on such an expensive figure, so this has really saved the figure for me.

So I’ve had the S1 Beskar Mando in his box for about a year now because I needed the PRAM and was waiting for this season 2 figure to release. After seeing final product pics I’ve decided I’ll get a chrome armor kit to use on a figure that’s been in its box rather than spend another $300+ on a new figure.

After making the decision I wanted to start working on my perfect Mando so I soaked the Beskar Mandos suit in some warm water and detergent, went through about 3 cycles until water was basically clear and it turned out amazing so I thought I’d share. Left suit is stock for reference.

I’m hoping you can do this with the new S2 Beskar suit but I’m not sure considering the flight suit is even more Grey now than it was before.

Could I ask where you get the chrome armour kits? I assumed they'd cost more than the figure.
