That's how it works with Hot Toys. First you aren't sure, then you dig it, then you have to have it!
By the time it hits, everyone wants one, lol.
It's the general way these things go.

It's the by product of showing the figure months in advance of the release. More psychology involved than most people know.

I might as well get this since I have all the other Caps. I'm surprised this was announced since the Rescue Version is still available. I gotta still get Red Skull.

They *could* make 4000 of any one figure in total secrecy, announce it the day it's in stock at SS, and it might clog the shelves.
But if they make a proto, and bait their core audience for eight months, eventually you feel you NEED it...
And if you miss out on a $220 preorder, you feel like you have to spend $300 to finally get one.
It's all a mind game, lol.

I wonder how much they are gonna price this Cap figure. There was a price displayed last year at SDCC in front of him saying $180. I doubt they would remember that!!

I'm pretty sure it said TBA or TBD. Many people mistook it for $180.

Little bummed that there isn't a saluting hand included, but other than that this looks awesome! Can't wait for pre order details.

As cheesy as it looks, if the ears were showing on the sculpt (yes I know its film accurate) I would buy it.

Surprised they did a new sculpt. The eyes are really throwing the likeness out the window.
